Description
Claims (15)
- 그 대향하는 면상에 냉간압연 접합된 순수 알루미늄을 갖는 구리코어를 포함하여 이루어진 예비접합된 복합체를 제공하는 단계; 그리고상기 예비접합된 복합체의 대향하는 면상에서 스텐레스 스틸 시이트를 상기 순수 알루미늄에 접합함으로써 스텐레스 스틸, 순수 알루미늄, 구리, 순수알루미늄 및 스텐레스 스틸로 이루어진 층들로 구성되는 5층 복합체 금속제품을 제공하는 단계;를 포함하고,상기 구리층은 다른 어느 층보다도 큰두께를 가지며, 상기 각 알루미늄층은다른 어느 층보다도 작은 두께를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 5층 복합체 금속제품 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 예비접합된 복합체는 고순도 구리시이트와 순수알루미늄 시이트를 압하율 50%로 냉간압연한후 최고온도 550℉로 가열함으로써 형성되며,상기 예비접합된 복합체에 대한 스텐레스 스틸의 접합은,상기 스텐레스 스틸과 상기 예비접합된 복합체를 520-600℉온도까지 가열하는 단계와, 상기 금속들을 적층배열 상태로 제 1압연패스에서 압하율 2-10%로 그리고 제 2압연패스에서 압하율 10-30%로 압연하는 단계를 포함하는 열간압연을 행하고, 후속하여, 상기 압연된 금속내의 온도가 균일하도록 600℉를 넘지않는 온도로 가열한후, 상기 구리와 알루미늄 사이의 취성의 금속간화합물이 형성되지 않도록 즉시 냉각함으로써 수행되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 순수 알루미늄은 EC등급과 1000시리이즈의 고알루미늄함량 합금으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택되며, 상기 순수알루미늄층은 상기 예비접합된 복합체 두께의 약 10%이며, 상기 구리코어는 상기 두께의 약 80%임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 5층 복합체 금속제품을 인발하여 형태를 갖는 조리용기로 성형하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 구리코어를 가시적으로 노출시키기 위해 상기 스텐레스 스틸과 순수알루미늄으로 이루어진 외층을 기계가공함으로써 상기 조리용기의 주변둘레에 적어도 하나의 절삭된 링을 형성하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 조리용기 상부 주변에 만곡된 측벽(radiused sidewall)을 형성하고 수직축을 따라 상기 만곡된 측벽을 전단함으로써,상기 용기측벽과 실질적으로 평행한 상부 에지(top edge)를 정의하는 상기 5층 복합체 금속의 단면으로 상기 구리코어와 스텐레스 스틸층들을 가시적으로 노출시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 구리 시이트를 제공하는 단계;그 각 시이트의 두께가 상기 구리 시이트 두께의 약 10%보다 크지 않는 2개의 순수알루미늄 시이트를 제공하는 단계;상기 순수알루미늄 시이트들과 상기 구리 시이트의 접촉면을 세정하는 단계;상기 순수알루미늄 시이트들과 구리 시이트로된 적층배열을 약 50%의 압하율로 냉간압연함으로써 순수 알루미늄층들사이에 위치된 구리코어를 포함하여 구성된 예비접합된 3층 복합체시이트를 형성하는 단계;상기 3층 복합시이트를 550℉까지의 온도로 가열하는 단계;그 각 시이트의 두께가 상기 냉간압연된 3층 복합체시이트내의 상기 구리코어 두께보다 작으며 각 순수 알루미늄층 두께보다 큰 2개의 스텐레스 스틸 시이트를 제공하고, 상기 3층 복합체시이트를 이루는 상기 스텐레스 스틸 시이트와 상기 순수 알루미늄면과의 접촉면을 세정한 다음, 상기 각 스텐레스 스틸 시이트들의 세정된 접촉면을 상기 3층 복합체의 세정된 순수알루미늄 표면상에 적치함으로써 5층 적층배열을 형성하는 단계;상기 5층 적층배열을 520°∼600℉의 온도범위로 가열하고, 이를 제1 압연패스에서 2-10%의 압하율로 그리고 제2 압연패스에서 10-30%의 압하율로 열간압연함으로써 5층 복합체시이트를 형성하는 단계;상기 5층 복합체 시이트내의 온도가 균일하도록 상기 5층 복합체 시이트를 600℉를 넘지 않는 온도로 가열하는 단계; 및상기 5층 복합체 시이트를 소망하는 조리용기로 성형하는 단계를 포함하는 5층 복합체 금속 조리용기 제조방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 구리코어를 가시적으로 노출시키기 위해 상기 스텐레스 스틸과 순수알루미늄의 외층을 기계가공함으로써 상기 조리용기의 주변을 따라 적어도 하나의 절삭된 링을 형성하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 조리용기 상부 주변에 만곡된 측벽을 형성하고 수직축을 따라 상기 만곡된 측벽을 전단함으로써,상기 용기측벽과 실질적으로 평행한 상부 에지를 정의하는 상기 5층 복합체 금속의 단면으로 상기 구리코어와 스텐레스 스틸층들을 가시적으로 노출시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 순수 알루미늄층에 냉연 접합된 구리코어와, 상기 순수 알루미늄층에 접합된 2개의 스텐레스 스틸층을 갖는 5층 복합체 금속시이트로 부터 만들어진 성형된 형상을 포함하며,상기 각 순수 알루미늄층은 상기 구리층 두께의 약 10%보다 작은 두께를 가지고, 상기 각 구리층은 상기 각 스텐레스 스틸층들의 두께보다 큰 두께를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 조리용기.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 구리코어를 가시적으로 노출시키기 위해 상기 용기의 주변에 형성된 적어도 하나의 절삭된 링을 포함하는 조리용기.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 구리코어를 가시적으로 노출시키는 에지 표면을 갖는 만곡된 상부 에지를 포함하는 조리용기.
