Abstract

1488984 Cooking vessels CLAD METALS Inc 29 Oct 1975 44745/75 Heading A4A [Also in Divisions B3 and E1] A laminated metal product for use in cooking vessels comprises a core of aluminium or aluminium alloy, with a layer of copper or copper alloy diffusion bonded on one side, and a layer of stainless steel diffusion bonded on the other side. A second layer of aluminium or aluminium alloy may be diffusion bonded to the exposed side of the copper or copper alloy and a second layer of stainless steel may be diffusion bonded to the exposed side of the second aluminium or aluminium alloy layer. The diffusion bonding may be effected by the application of pressure and heat.
