Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 복수의 요소 전류 중에서, 입력되는 디지털 데이터에 따른 요소 전류를 선택함으로써 부전류를 출력하는 복수개의 회로 블록과,상기 부전류를 합성함으로써 주전류를 출력하는 합성 회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전류 생성 회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,한개의 회로 블록은 상기 복수의 요소 전류의 각각을 이득 계수가 각각 상이한 트랜지스터에 의해 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전류 생성 회로.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 트랜지스터에는 그 이득 계수의 비가 이진 가중(二進加重)이 되는 조합의 것이 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전류 생성 회로.
- 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 트랜지스터의 각각은 전계 효과형 트랜지스터이고,한개의 회로 블록에서의 트랜지스터의 게이트 전극에는 공통의 기준 전압이 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전류 생성 회로.
- 부전류를 생성하는 복수개의 회로 블록과,각 회로 블록에 의해 생성된 부전류를 합성함으로써 주전류를 출력하는 합성 회로를 구비하고,각각의 회로 블록은, 입력되는 디지털 데이터가 취할 수 있는 범위를 분할한 범위의 각각에 할당되고,한개의 회로 블록은,디지털 데이터의 값이 상기 회로 블록에 할당된 범위 이하인 경우, 대략 제로의 부전류를 생성하고,디지털 데이터의 값이 상기 회로 블록에 할당된 범위에 있는 경우, 상기 디지털 데이터에 따라서 대략 직선 특성으로 부전류를 생성하고,디지털 데이터의 값이 상기 회로 블록에 할당된 범위 이상인 경우, 상기 한개의 블록에 대하여 상위측에 인접하는 블록에 할당된 디지털 데이터의 범위의 최저값에 상당하는 부전류를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전류 생성 회로.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,회로 블록에서의 대략 직선 특성을 각 회로 블록에 대하여 개별적으로 설정할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전류 생성 회로.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항, 제 5 항 및 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 주전류의 하한값을 규정하는 오프셋 전류 경로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전류 생성 회로.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항, 제 5 항 및 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 전류 생성 회로를 집적화한 것을 특징으로 하는 반도체 집적 회로.
- 복수의 주사선과, 복수의 데이터선과, 상기 주사선을 구동하는 주사선 구동 회로와, 상기 데이터선을 구동하는 데이터선 구동 회로와, 상기 주사선 및 상기 데이터선의 교차부에 배치되는 전기 광학 소자를 구비하는 전기 광학 장치로서,상기 데이터선 구동 회로는 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항, 제 5 항 및 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 전류 생성 회로를 포함하고, 상기 전류 생성 회로에 의한 주전류를 한개의 데이터선에 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 전기 광학 소자는 전류에 의해 구동되는 피구동 소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 피구동 소자는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자의 휘도 계조를 규정하는 데이터를 기억하는 메모리와,상기 메모리로부터 데이터를 판독하여, 상기 디지털 데이터로서 상기 데이터선 구동 회로에 공급하는 제어 회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,동작의 기준이 되는 기준 동작 신호를 공급하는 발진 회로를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 9 항에 기재된 전기 광학 장치가 실장된 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 기기.
