Claims (4)
- 열상(列狀)의 신호전극을 포함하는 표시셀과 행상(行狀)의 주사채널을 포함하는 플라스마셀을 서로 적층한 플랫패널구조를 가지고, 소정의 기준전위를 중심으로 하는 구동신호를 신호전극에 인가하는 구동회로와, 주사채널은 선순차(線順次)로 선택방전하는 주사회로를 구비한 플라스마어드레스표시장치에 있어서, 개개의 주사채널은 유전막(誘電膜)으로 덮힌 피복전극과 노출전극의 쌍을 포함하고 있으며, 상기 주사회로는 각 주사채널의 선택방전시 최초에 피복전극에 애노드전위를 인가하는 동시에 노출전극에 캐소드전위를 인가하고, 이어서 피복전극에 캐소드전위를 인가하는 동시에 노출전극에 이 기준전위와 동등한 애노드전위를 인가하는 전환수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스마어드레스표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전환수단은 노출전극을 이 기준전위(영전위)에 고정하는 한편, 피복전극에 대하여 최초에 정극성(正極性)의 애노드전위를 인가하고, 이어서 부극성(負極性)의 캐소드전위를 인가하는 쌍극(雙極)전환수단인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스마어드레스표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전환수단은 최초에 피복전극에 기준전위(영전위)와 동등한 애노드전위를 인가하는 동시에 노출전극에 부극성의 캐소드전위를 인가하고, 이어서 극성(極性)을 교체하여 피복전극에 부극성의 캐소드전위를 인가하는 동시에 노출전극에 기준전위(영전위)와 동등한 애노드전위를 인가하는 단극(單極) 전환수단인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스마어드레스표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피복전극을 덮는 유전막은 마그네슘산화물로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스마어드레스표시장치.
