Abstract

본 발명은 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치에 관한 것으로, 브레이크 부스터(21) 일측면에 급 제동시 발생하는 부압을 전달하도록 형성된 진공호스(24)와, 상기 진공호스(24)를 통해 전달받은 부압에 의해 작동되는 스위치부(27)로 구성함으로써 차량의 급 제동시 비상등이 자동으로 점등되어, 운전자가 손으로 직접 비상등 스위치 버튼(28)를 작동하지 않으므로 인한 핸들 조작력을 높이고 비상등을 미쳐 작동하지 못하여 발생하는 후방 차량과의 추돌 등을 방지함으로써 안전운행에 크게 기여하도록 한 것이다.

Description

급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치
본 발명은 급 제동시 비상등 점등 장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 차량의 급 제동시 브레이크 부스터내의 공기의 체적 변화로 인하여 발생하는 부압을 이용하여 비상등을 자동으로 점등시킴으로써 운전자가 직접 비상등 스위치를 손으로 작동하지 않으므로 핸들 조작력을 높이고, 비상등을 미쳐 켜지 못하여 발생하는 후방 차량과의 추돌 사고를 미연에 방지하여 안전 운행에 기여할 수 있게 한 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치에 관한 것이다.
도 1 은 종래 기술에 의한 브레이크 부스터를 보인 부분 단면도이다.
일반적인 차량의 비상등은, 자동차가 노상에서 긴급 정차를 하고 있을 때 다른 자동차와의 충돌을 피하기 위하여 점멸하는 램프를 말한다. 보통 전후 4개의 방향지시등을 동시에 점멸시킨다.
이러한 비상 점멸등은 긴급 정차시뿐만이 아니라 차량 주행중 전방 상황에 따라 급 제동시나 후방차에게 주의를 요하도록 할 때에도 사용하는 아주 중요한 의사 전달 수단인 것이다.
종래의 비상등 스위치는 차량의 인스트러먼트 패널 또는 핸들 윗 부분에 설치되어 운전자가 운행중 비상등을 점등시에는 한손으로는 운전대를 잡고 다른 한손으로 비상등을 점등시키므로 운행중 돌발적인 상황에서 급 제동을 할 경우 핸들 조작력이 떨어지게 되고, 미쳐 비상등을 점등하지 못해서 전방차량의 상황을 인식하지 못한 후방차량과의 추돌 사고 등 안전 사고가 발생하는 등의 많은 문제점이 있었다.
한편으로 도 1 은 종래 기술에 위한 브레이크 부스터를 보인 부분 단면도로서, 상기 브레이크 부스터(11)는 브레이크 페달(12)을 밟을시 운전자의 밟는 힘 이회에 엔진의 부압이나 압축공기 등의 힘을 가하여 제동력을 강하게 한 후 브레이크 작동시의 밟는 힘을 가볍게 하는 장치로서 운전자가 브레이크 페달(12)을 밟으면 파워 피스톤(13)이 압축실 방향으로 밀려가게 되고 부압 발생실(32)에는 공기의 체적 변화로 인한 부압이 형성된다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 차량의 돌발 상황에서 운전자가 급 제동을 할 때에 자동적으로 비상등이 점등되어 운전자가 손으로 직접 비상등 스위치를 작동하지 않으므로 운전자의 핸들 조작력을 높이고, 비상등을 미쳐 작동하지 못하여 발생하는 후방 차량과의 추돌사고를 방지하여 안전운전에 기여할 수 있도록 한 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치를 제공함에 있다.

상기한 본 발명의 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 브레이크 부스터 부압 발생실 측면에 부압을 외부로 전달하도록 하는 진공호스와, 상기 진공호스를 통해 전달되는 부압에 의해 작동되는 피스톤과 상기 피스톤에 의해 접점되는 부압에 의해 접점되는 스위치 접점수단으로 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치가 제공된다.
이하, 본 발명에 의한 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치를 첨부 도면에 도시한 실시례에 따라서 설명하면 다음과 같다.
도 2는 본 발명에 의한 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치의 구성을 보인 단면도이고, 도 3 및 도 4는 본 발명에 의한 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치의 스위치부를 보인 단면도로서, 도 3는 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치의 작동전 상태를 보인 단면도이고, 도 4는 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치의 작동후 상태를 보인 단면도며, 도 5는 일반적인 비상등 점등 장치의 개략적인 배선도이다.
이에 도시한 바와 같이 본 발명에 의한 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치는 급 제동시 브레이크 부스터(21)내의 부압 발생실(32)에서 발생하는 부압을 전달하는 진공호스(24)와, 상기 진공호스(24)에 의해 전달받은 부압에 의해 비상등을 저동으로 점등시키는 스위치부(27)로 구성되어 있다.
상기 스위치부(27)는 비상 스위치 버튼(28)이 수납되는 버튼 하우징(26)과, 상기 비상 스위치 버튼(28)의 내측 단부에 고정되고 버튼 하우징(26)에 직선이동이 가능하도록 결합되는 피스톤(27)과, 상기 버튼 하우징(26)의 내벽 및 피스톤(27)의 외주면에 각각 설치되어 비상등을 자동 점등시키는 고정단자(30) 및 가동단자(31)로 구성된다.
상기와 같이 구성되는 본 발명의 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치의 작용 효과를 설명하면 다음과 같다.
운전자가 급 제동시 브레이크 페달(12)을 밟게 되면 브레이크 부스터(21)내의 파워 피스톤(23)이 압축실(29) 방향으로 밀려 가게 된다. 이때, 브레이크 부스터(21)내의 부압 발생실(32)에는 공기의 체적 변화로 인한 부압이 발생하게 되며 상기 부압은 진공호스(24)를 통해 스위치부(27)의 피스톤(25)을 당기게 되며 상기 피스톤(25) 외주면에 설치되어 있는 가동단자(31)와 버튼 하우징(26)의 내벽에 설치되어 있는 고정단자(30)가 서로 접점이 되어 도 5의 배선도에서 나타낸 바와 같이 플레셔 유니트가 점멸 전류를 출력하여 비상등이 자동으로 점등 되는 것이다.
상기 비상등 스위치 버튼(28)은 운전자의 수동 조작으로도 작동이 가능하다.
이상에서 설명한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 의한 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치는 브레이크 부스터 일측면에 급 제동시 발생하는 부압을 전달하도록 형성된 진공호스와, 상기 진공호스를 통해 전달받은 부압에 의해 작동되는 스위치부로 구성함으로써 차량의 급 제동시 비상등이 자동으로 점등되어, 운전자가 손으로 직접 비상등 스위치를 작동하지 않으므로 인한 핸들 조작력을 높이고 비상등을 미쳐 작동하지 못하여 발생하는 후방 차량과의 추돌 등을 방지함으로써 안전운행에 크게 기여하는 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 브레이크 부스터 일측면에 급 제동시 발생하는 부압을 전달하도록 형성된 진공호스와, 상기 진공호스를 통해 전달받은 부압에 의해 비상등을 자동으로 점등시키는 스위치부를 포함하여 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 스위치부는 비상 스위치 버튼이 수납되는 버튼하우징과, 상기 비상 스위치 버튼의 내측 단부에 고정되고 버튼 하우징에 직선 이동이 가능 하도록 결합되는 피스톤과, 상기 버튼 하우징의 내벽 및 피스톤의 외주면에 각각 설치되어 비상등을 자동 점멸시키는 고정단자 및 가동단자로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 급 제동시 비상등 자동 점등 장치.
