Abstract

본 발명은 차량의 측면충돌시 운전자 또는 승객의 무릎(대퇴부)의 하반신을 보호할 수 있도록 한 측면충돌시 운전자의 하반신 프로텍터 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 시트의 측면에 프로텍터를 형성시키고, 형성된 프로텍터를 정, 역이 가능한 모터에 연결시켜 안전벨트의 착용여부에 따라 이동하여 측면충돌시 운전자 및 승객의 하반신을 보호할 수 있도록 하는 것이다.

제1도는 본 발명 측면충돌시 운전자의 하반신 프로텍터(protector) 장치의 기구적구조를 보인 사시도.
제2도는 본 발명 측면충돌시 운전자의 하반신 프로텍터(protector) 장치의 회로적인 구성을 보인 회로도.

본 발명은 차량의 측면충돌시 운전자 또는 승객의 무릎(대퇴부)의 하반신을 보호할 수 있도록 한 측면충돌시 운전자의 하반신 프로텍터(protector) 장치에 관한 것이다.
차량의 측면충돌시 승객의 무릎을 보호하여 치명적인 하반신 부상을 감소시키고, 승객의 거동을 구속하여 2차적인 충돌로 부터 운전자 및 승객을 보호하기 위한 장치인바, 본 발명에서는 시트(seat)의 측면에 프로텍터를 형성시키고, 형성된 프로텍터를 정, 역이 가능한 모터에 연결시켜 안전벨트의 착용여부에 따라 이동하여 측면충돌시 운전자 및 승객의 하반신을 보호하고자 하는 것이다.
도면 제1도는 본 발명 측면충돌시 운전자의 하반신 프로텍터(protector) 장치의 기구적구성이며, 제2도는 제1도의 기구를 동작시키기 위한 장치의 전자적인 회로도로서, 제1도와 제2도를 참조하여 본 발명 장치의 구성 및 작용을 설명하면 다음과 같다.
제1도 및 제2도에 도시된 바와 같이, 시트 백(seat back)(1)과 시트 쿠션(seat cushion)(2) 사이의 힌지부(3)에 프로텍터(4)가 시트 쿠션(2)의 측단에 형성되고, 상기 형성된 프로텍터(4)는 축(6)에 연결되어, 정, 역회전이 가능한 모터(5) 결합되고, 안전벨트(8)의 착용여부를 인식하도록 하는 버클 스위치(SW1)는 안전벨트(8)의 버클(Buckle)(6)에 내장되도록 하고, 상기 버클 스위치(SW1)에 의해 상기 프로텍터(4)의 위치를 변화시키는 모터(5)의 회전방향 및 구동여부를 결정하는 마이크로 스위치(9)로 구성된다.
이와 같이 구성되는 본 발명 측면충돌시 운전자의 하반신 프로텍터(protector) 장치는 운전자 및 승객의 측면 하측에 위치하도록 하여 측면충돌시의 운전자 및 승객의 하반신을 보호하고자 하는 것으로, 운전자 및 승객이 안전벨트(8)를 버클(7)에 끼워 안전벨트(8)를 착용하게 되면, 버클(7)에 내장된 버클 스위치(SW1)가 온 되어진다.
상기와 같이 버클 스위치( SW1)가 온 되면, 마이크로 스위치(9)가 동작하여 모터(5)에 전원을 인가하여 모터(5)를 회전시키게 된다.
상기와 같이 모터(5)가 회전하게 되면, 시트 백(1)과 시트 쿠션(2)의 사이에 위치한 프로텍터(4)가 다운(DOWN)위치로 이동하게 된다.
상기와 같이 다운 위치로 이동된 프로텍터(4)는 측면충돌시 운전자 및 승객의 하반신을 보호하여 주게 되는 것이다.
또한, 운전자 및 승객이 안전밸트(7)를 풀게 되면, 버클(7)에 내장된 버클 스위치(7)가 오프되어 마이크로 스위치(9)가 이를 인식하여 모터(5)에 부전원을 인가하여 프로텍터(4)를 업(UP)위치로 이동시키게 되는 것이다.
이상에서 설명한 바와 같이, 안전벨트의 착용여부에 따라 프로텍터를 동작시키게 됨에 따라 안전벨트에 의한 운전자 또는 승객의 보호와 아울러 프로텍터에 의해 측면 충돌시에도 운전자 및 승긱을 보호하여 주게 되므로서, 안전의 이중효과가 있는 것이다.

  1. 시트 백(1)과 시트 쿠션(2) 사이의 힌지부(3)에 프로텍터(4)가 시트쿠션(2)의 측단에 형성되고, 상기 형성된 프로텍터(4)는 축(6)에 연결되어, 정,역회전이 가능한 모터(5)에 결합되고, 안전벨트(8)의 착용여부를 인식하도록 하는 버클 스위치(SW1)는 안전벨트(8)의 버클(6)에 내장되도록 하고, 상기 버클 스위치(SW1)에 의해 상기 프로텍터(4)의 위치를 변화시키는 모터(5)의 회전방향 및 구동여부를 결정하는 마이크로 스위치(9)로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 측면충돌시 운전자의 하반신 프로텍터(Protector) 장치.
