複数のセル(E1−En)を含む電池モジュール(11)と、
前記電池モジュール(11)の充放電と前記電池モジュール(11)内の温度を管理する管理部(12)と、を備え、
前記管理部(12)は、前記電池モジュール(11)内の測定された温度をもとに前記電池モジュール(11)内のセル(En)の内部の最高温度を推定し、前記電池モジュール(11)の充放電中、前記推定した最高温度が上限温度を超えないように、前記電池モジュール(11)の充放電電流、及び/又は前記電池モジュール(11)の冷却を制御することを特徴とする電池システム(10)。
これによれば、推定した電池モジュール(11)内のセル(En)の内部の最高温度をもとに電池モジュール(11)の温度を制御するため、複数のセル(E1−En)の劣化を抑制することができる。
複数のセル(E1−En)を含む電池モジュール(11)と、
前記電池モジュール(11)の充放電と前記電池モジュール(11)内の温度を管理する管理部(12)と、を備え、
前記管理部(12)は、前記電池モジュール(11)内の測定された温度をもとに前記電池モジュール(11)内のセル(En)の内部の最高温度を推定し、前記電池モジュール(11)の充放電の終了後において、前記推定した最高温度が上限温度を超える場合、推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記電池モジュール(11)を冷却することを特徴とする電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電池モジュール(11)の充放電の終了後において、電池モジュール(11)を冷却するため、複数のセル(E1−En)の保存劣化を抑制することができる。
内部を冷却液が通り、前記電池モジュール(11)内の複数のセル(E1−En)の一部分を冷却する冷却部材(13)と、
前記複数のセル(E1−En)のいずれかのセル(En)の表面に設置される第1温度センサ(T1)と、
前記電池モジュール(11)内、または前記電池モジュール(11)を含む電池パック内の環境温度を測定する第2温度センサ(T2)と、
前記冷却液の温度を測定する第3温度センサ(T3)と、をさらに備え、
前記管理部(12)は、予め作成された、前記セル(En)の表面の測定温度、前記電池モジュール(11)内/前記電池パック内の環境温度及び前記冷却液の温度を含む複数の条件と、前記最高温度との関係を規定したテーブル(12t)又は関数を保持し、当該テーブル(12t)又は当該関数を使用して、前記最高温度を推定することを特徴とする項目1または2に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電池モジュール(11)内のセル(En)の内部の最高温度を高精度に推定することができる。
前記電池モジュール(11)を流れる電流を測定する電流センサ(13b)をさらに備え、
前記管理部(12)は、予め作成された、前記セル(En)の表面の測定温度、前記電池モジュール(11)内/前記電池パック内の環境温度、前記冷却液の温度及び前記電池モジュール(11)を流れる電流を含む複数の条件と、前記最高温度との関係を規定したテーブル(12t)又は関数を保持し、当該テーブル(12t)又は当該関数を使用して、前記最高温度を推定することを特徴とする項目2に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電池モジュール(11)内のセル(En)の内部の最高温度を、さらに高精度に推定することができる。
前記第1温度センサ(T1)は、前記内部の温度が前記電池モジュール(11)内の最高温度であるセル(En)の表面に設置されることを特徴とする項目3または4に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電池モジュール(11)内のセル(En)の内部の最高温度を、セル(En)の外部の表面に設置された第1温度センサ(T1)の測定温度をもとに推定することができる。
前記電池システム(10)は、電動車両(1)に搭載され、
前記管理部(12)は、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超えるとき、前記電池モジュール(11)から前記電動車両(1)内の走行用モータ(30)に供給される電流量を低下させることを特徴とする項目1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電動車両(1)に搭載された電池モジュール(11)の温度を低下させることができる。
前記電池システム(10)は、電動車両(1)に搭載され、
前記管理部(12)は、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超えるとき、前記電動車両(1)内の冷却システム(20)に、前記電池モジュール(11)に供給する冷却液の流量を増加させる指示信号を送信することを特徴とする項目1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電動車両(1)に搭載された電池モジュール(11)の温度を低下させることができる。
前記管理部(12)は、前記電動車両(1)のパワーオフ後において、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超える場合、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記電池モジュール(11)を冷却することを特徴とする項目7に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電動車両(1)のパワーオフ後において、電池モジュール(11)の温度を早期に低下させることができる。
前記管理部(12)は、前記電動車両(1)の外部に設置された充電器(2)からの充電終了後において、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超える場合、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記電池モジュール(11)を冷却することを特徴とする項目7に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電動車両(1)の外部充電後において、電池モジュール(11)の温度を早期に低下させることができる。
前記管理部(12)は、前記充電器(2)からの充電終了後において、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記冷却システム(20)に前記充電器(2)から電源供給されるように制御することを特徴とする項目9に記載の電池システム(10)。
これによれば、電動車両(1)の外部充電後の冷却システム(20)の稼働により、電池モジュール(11)の容量が減少することを防止することができる。
Claims (10)
- 複数のセルを含む電池モジュールと、
前記電池モジュールの充放電と前記電池モジュール内の温度を管理する管理部と、を備え、
前記管理部は、前記電池モジュール内の測定された温度をもとに前記電池モジュール内のセルの内部の最高温度を推定し、前記電池モジュールの充放電中、前記推定した最高温度が上限温度を超えないように、前記電池モジュールの充放電電流、及び/又は前記電池モジュールの冷却を制御することを特徴とする電池システム。 - 複数のセルを含む電池モジュールと、
前記電池モジュールの充放電と前記電池モジュール内の温度を管理する管理部と、を備え、
前記管理部は、前記電池モジュール内の測定された温度をもとに前記電池モジュール内のセルの内部の最高温度を推定し、前記電池モジュールの充放電の終了後において、前記推定した最高温度が上限温度を超える場合、推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記電池モジュールを冷却することを特徴とする電池システム。 - 内部を冷却液が通り、前記電池モジュール内の複数のセルの一部分を冷却する冷却部材と、
前記複数のセルのいずれかのセルの表面に設置される第1温度センサと、
前記電池モジュール内、または前記電池モジュールを含む電池パック内の環境温度を測定する第2温度センサと、
前記冷却液の温度を測定する第3温度センサと、をさらに備え、
前記管理部は、予め作成された、前記セルの表面の測定温度、前記電池モジュール内/前記電池パック内の環境温度及び前記冷却液の温度を含む複数の条件と、前記最高温度との関係を規定したテーブル又は関数を保持し、当該テーブル又は当該関数を使用して、前記最高温度を推定することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電池システム。 - 前記電池モジュールを流れる電流を測定する電流センサをさらに備え、
前記管理部は、予め作成された、前記セルの表面の測定温度、前記電池モジュール内/前記電池パック内の環境温度、前記冷却液の温度及び前記電池モジュールを流れる電流を含む複数の条件と、前記最高温度との関係を規定したテーブル又は関数を保持し、当該テーブル又は当該関数を使用して、前記最高温度を推定することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池システム。 - 前記第1温度センサは、前記内部の温度が前記電池モジュール内の最高温度であるセルの表面に設置されることを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載の電池システム。
- 前記電池システムは、電動車両に搭載され、
前記管理部は、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超えるとき、前記電池モジュールから前記電動車両内の走行用モータに供給される電流量を低下させることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。 - 前記電池システムは、電動車両に搭載され、
前記管理部は、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超えるとき、前記電動車両内の冷却システムに、前記電池モジュールに供給する冷却液の流量を増加させる指示信号を送信することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電池システム。 - 前記管理部は、前記電動車両のパワーオフ後において、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超える場合、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記電池モジュールを冷却することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電池システム。
- 前記管理部は、前記電動車両の外部に設置された充電器からの充電終了後において、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度を超える場合、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記電池モジュールを冷却することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電池システム。
- 前記管理部は、前記充電器からの充電終了後において、前記推定した最高温度が前記上限温度以下になるまで、前記冷却システムに前記充電器から電源供給されるように制御することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電池システム。
