Abstract
Description
本願は、2017年5月11日に、日本に出願された特願2017−094738号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
[1] 筒状の直胴部と、前記直胴部の両端に設けられ、前記直胴部から離れるにつれて窄む形状のドーム部とを備える圧力容器であって、
前記直胴部及び前記ドーム部は、樹脂製の容器本体と、前記容器本体の外側に設けられた強化繊維とマトリクス樹脂を含有する繊維強化樹脂材料からなる外殻によって形成され、
前記容器本体のドーム部には、前記ドーム部の先端から前記直胴部に向かって延びるピンチオフ部を有し、
前記容器本体の前記直胴部と前記ドーム部の境界位置から前記ドーム部の先端までの直胴部の軸方向における距離を1としたとき、
前記ピンチオフ部における前記ドーム部の先端と反対側の端部が、前記ドーム部の先端からの直胴部の軸方向における距離が1未満の領域内に位置している、圧力容器。
[2] 前記ピンチオフ部における前記ドーム部の先端と反対側の端部が、前記ドーム部の先端からの直胴部の軸方向における距離が7/8の位置までの領域内に位置している、上記[1]に記載の圧力容器。
[3] 前記容器本体が、ダイレクトブロー成形品である、上記[1]または[2]に記載の圧力容器。
ピンチオフ部12は、ダイレクトブロー成形時においてパリソンの一部が、左右から閉じられる一対の金型に挟まれることによって形成される。そのため、図4に示すように、容器本体2のそれぞれのドーム部2bにおける、直胴部2aの軸方向に対する垂直方向に切断した断面において、2つのピンチオフ部12が対向する位置に形成されている。
図3に示すように、容器本体2の直胴部2aの軸方向において、容器本体2の直胴部2aとドーム部2bの境界位置kからドーム部2bの先端までの距離を1とする。このとき、圧力容器1では、容器本体2の直胴部2aの軸方向において、ピンチオフ部12におけるドーム部2bの先端と反対側の端部12aは、容器本体2のドーム部2bの先端から、前記先端からの距離が1未満の位置までの領域(以下、領域X0ともいう。)内に位置している。この例では、ピンチオフ部12の直胴部2a側の端部12aが、ドーム部2bの先端からの距離が7/8の位置と一致している。
容器本体2の両方のドーム部2bにそれぞれ形成されたピンチオフ部12の両方が、ドーム部2bの先端と反対側の端部12aが領域X0内に位置するように形成されている。
金型で挟み込まれる際のパリソンが厚くなることで、ドーム部では樹脂の蓄熱量が直胴部よりも大きくなり、樹脂が冷却硬化するまでの時間が長くなる。これにより、ドーム部に形成されるピンチオフ部においては、谷形状が直胴部から遠ざかるほど緩やかになる傾向がある。ピンチオフ部の谷形状が緩やかになるほど、圧力容器の内圧が高まったときにピンチオフラインの位置に生じる応力が低くなり、圧力容器に損傷しにくくなる。
ドーム部2bの先端からピンチオフ部12の端部12aまでの距離の下限は、特に限定はない。ダイレクトブロー成形をした場合の樹脂の肉厚ムラが少ない方が容器本体2の強度が高くなる点では、ピンチオフ部12の端部12aは、ドーム部2bの先端からの距離が1/10の位置か、それよりも直胴部2a側に位置していることがより好ましい。

前記したように、容器本体2のドーム部2bにはピンチオフ部12が形成されている。図5に示すように、ピンチオフ部12をその厚さ方向に切断した断面の内縁2d上において、ピンチオフライン15が位置する地点を点Aとする。また、内縁2d上における肉厚部13の最大肉厚となる部分に相当する地点を点B、肉厚部14の最大肉厚となる部分に相当する地点を点Cとする。内縁2d上における点Bの点Aと反対側で点Aと肉厚が等しい位置のうち最も点Bに近い位置を点D、点Cの点Aと反対側で点Aと肉厚が等しい位置のうち最も点Cに近い位置を点Eとする。

ただし、dAFは点Aと点Fの距離であり、dFDは点Fと点Dの距離であり、dAGは点Aと点Gの距離であり、dGEは点Gと点Eの距離である。
4×dAF≧dFDかつ4×dAG≧dGE ・・・(2)
2×dAF≧dFDかつ2×dAG≧dGE ・・・(3)
強化繊維としては、例えば、炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、有機高弾性率繊維(アラミド繊維、超高強力ポリエステル繊維等)、金属繊維、セラミック繊維等が挙げられる。炭素繊維としては、ピッチ系、ポリアクリロニトリル(PAN系)、レーヨン系等が挙げられる。なかでも、特に高い弾性率が得られやすい点ではピッチ系炭素繊維が好ましく、高い強度が得られやすい点ではPAN系炭素繊維が好ましい。強化繊維としては、1種を単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。
本発明の圧力容器における容器本体の製造方法としては、ダイレクトブロー成形法を採用される。ピンチオフ部を容器本体のドーム部の領域X0のみに形成する方法は、特に限定されず、例えば、パリソンを押し出すダイスを小さくする方法、パリソンを一対の金型の上下でピンチし、パリソンの幅を金型の幅に比べてより小さくする方法等が挙げられる。
条件(1)を満たすピンチオフ部が形成された容器本体を成形する方法は、特に限定されず、例えば、上記の方法と同様の方法が挙げられる。
特に、自動車等の車輌に搭載される燃料タンクや、天然ガスや水素ガスの貯蔵や輸送に利用されるタンク等の用途では、圧力容器に優れた耐久性が要求される。本発明の第1の形態の圧力容器は、優れた耐久性を有するため、このような用途にも有用である。
[実施例1]
図1〜5に例示した圧力容器1と同様の形態の圧力容器を製造した。
容器本体(ライナー)の材料としては、密度0.945の高密度ポリエチレン樹脂(HDPE、Lyondellbasell社製の4261AGBD)を用いた。ブロー成形により、直胴部の厚さが6mm、直胴部の外径Dが793mm、外径Dに対する軸方向の長さLの比L/Dが2.9となる容器本体を得た。
容器本体のドーム部には、ドーム部の先端から直胴部に向かって延びるピンチオフ部が形成された。容器本体の直胴部とドーム部の境界位置からドーム部の先端までの距離を1としたとき、ピンチオフ部のドーム部の先端と反対側の端部の位置は、ドーム部の先端からの直胴部の軸方向における距離が0.78(6.24/8)の位置であった。また、同条件で形成した容器本体のドーム部におけるピンチオフ部が形成された部分のうち、直胴部側のピンチオフ先端近傍の位置を軸方向に垂直な方向に切断し、ピンチオフ部の形状を測定したところ、1.5×dAF=dFDかつ1.5×dAG=dGEを満たしていた。
強化繊維束として炭素繊維束(Mitsubishi Rayon Carbon Fiber and Composites社製、37−800−WD 30K、引張強度:5520MPa、引張弾性率:255GPa、目付:1.675g/m)を用いた。マトリクス樹脂組成物として、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、酸無水物硬化剤及び硬化促進剤を含むエポキシ樹脂組成物(Huntsman社製、LY1564/917/960−1)を用いた。12本の炭素繊維束を引き揃えて強化繊維基材とし、樹脂槽に収容したエポキシ樹脂組成物に前記強化繊維基材を引き込んで浸し、容器本体上で前記強化繊維基材からなるバンドの幅が32mmとなるようにフープ巻き、ヘリカル巻きの所定量を容器本体に巻き付けた。巻き付け時に強化繊維基材に付与した張力は17N、容器本体内部の圧力は巻き付け開始時に0.1MPa、フープ巻き、ヘリカル巻きの各一層が終了以降は0.3MPaとした。
巻き付け後、容器本体内部の圧力を0.3MPaで保持した状態で、65℃で45分加し、さらに95℃の硬化炉で6時間加熱し、容器本体の外側に繊維強化樹脂材料からなる外殻が形成された圧力容器を得た。維量及び外殻の質量から計算した外殻中の炭素繊維の繊維体積含有率(Vf)は60体積%であった。
容器本体の直胴部とドーム部の境界位置からドーム部の先端までの距離を1としたときに、ピンチオフ部のドーム部の先端と反対側の端部の位置が、ドーム部の先端からの直胴部の軸方向における距離が1.12(8.98/8)の位置となるように容器本体を形成し、ピンチオフ部の形状を9×dAF=dFDかつ9×dAG=dGEを満たすようにした以外は、実施例1と同様にして圧力容器を製造した。
各例で得た圧力容器について、輸送用圧力容器のISO11515規格に準じた常温圧力サイクル試験(使用圧力の150%負荷)を実施し、耐久性を評価した。評価結果を表1に示す。

- 筒状の直胴部と、前記直胴部の両端に設けられ、前記直胴部から離れるにつれて窄む形状のドーム部とを備える圧力容器であって、
前記直胴部及び前記ドーム部は、樹脂製の容器本体と、前記容器本体の外側に設けられた強化繊維とマトリクス樹脂を含有する繊維強化樹脂材料からなる外殻によって形成され、
前記容器本体のドーム部には、前記ドーム部の先端から前記直胴部に向かって延びるピンチオフ部を有し、
前記容器本体の前記直胴部と前記ドーム部の境界位置から前記ドーム部の先端までの直胴部の軸方向における距離を1としたとき、
前記ピンチオフ部における前記ドーム部の先端と反対側の端部が、前記ドーム部の先端からの直胴部の軸方向における距離が1未満の領域内に位置している、圧力容器。 - 前記ピンチオフ部における前記ドーム部の先端と反対側の端部が、前記ドーム部の先端からの直胴部の軸方向における距離が7/8の位置までの領域内に位置している、請求項1に記載の圧力容器。
- 前記容器本体が、ダイレクトブロー成形品である、請求項1または2に記載の圧力容器。
