Abstract
Description
<アクリルゴム組成物>
まず、本発明のゴム積層体のアクリルゴム層(A)を形成するためのアクリルゴム組成物について、説明する。本発明で用いる、アクリルゴム層(A)を形成するためのアクリルゴム組成物は、少なくとも、カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムと脂肪族多価アミン化合物またはその誘導体とを含有する。本発明においては、アクリルゴム層(A)を形成するためのアクリルゴムとして、カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムを使用することで、カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムは耐熱性に特に優れているものであることから、得られるゴム積層体の耐熱性を向上させることができる。
本発明で用いるカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムは、カルボキシル基を有するアクリルゴムであり、分子中に、主成分としての(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体単位を含有し、かつ、カルボキシル基を有するものであればよく、特に限定されない。ここで、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体は、アクリル酸エステル単量体および/またはメタクリル酸エステル単量体を意味する(以下、(メタ)アクリル酸メチル等も同様である)。
本発明で用いる脂肪族多価アミン化合物及びその誘導体は、上述したカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムを架橋するための架橋剤として作用する。脂肪族多価アミン化合物及びその誘導体としては、(1)2つ以上のアミノ基を有する脂肪族化合物、または(2)架橋時に2つ以上のアミノ基を有する脂肪族化合物の形態になるものであれば特に限定されない。ここで、脂肪族多価アミンは、脂肪族基が少なくとも2つのN原子に直接結合している化合物であり、また、その誘導体は、脂肪族基が少なくとも2つのN原子に直接結合している化学種に他の化学種が結合した化合物である。
また、本発明で用いるアクリルゴム組成物には、上記各成分に加えて、ゴム加工分野において通常使用される配合剤を配合することができる。このような配合剤としては、たとえば、カーボンブラック、シリカなどの補強性充填剤;クレーなどの非補強性充填剤;架橋促進剤;老化防止剤;光安定剤;可塑剤;加工助剤;滑剤;粘着剤;潤滑剤;難燃剤;防黴剤;帯電防止剤;着色剤;シランカップリング剤;架橋遅延剤、ビスマス酸化物以外の受酸剤;などが挙げられる。これらの配合剤の配合量は、本発明の目的や効果を阻害しない範囲であれば特に限定されず、配合目的に応じた量を適宜配合することができる。
<フッ素ゴム組成物>
次いで、本発明のゴム積層体のフッ素ゴム層(B)を形成するためのフッ素ゴム組成物について、説明する。本発明で用いるフッ素ゴム組成物は、少なくともポリオール架橋系フッ素ゴムを含有する。
次いで、本発明のゴム積層体について、説明する。本発明のゴム積層体は、上述したアクリルゴム組成物からなるアクリルゴム層(A)と、ポリオール架橋系フッ素ゴム組成物からなるフッ素ゴム層(B)とを架橋接着してなるゴムの積層体である。
得られたゴム積層体を用いて、JIS K6854−3に従って剥離試験を行うことで、ゴム積層体を構成する両層間の架橋接着性の評価を行った。具体的には、得られたゴム積層体を、幅25.4mm、長さ100mmの短冊状に打ち抜き、ゴム積層体の端部のつかみ部を引張試験機のつかみ具に取り付け、50mm/分の速さで、180°剥離試験を行い、剥離時の荷重を引張り試験機のロードセルで読み取り、剥離強度(N/mm)を求めた。また、剥離試験後、フッ素ゴムの表面に残ったアクリルゴムの割合(%)を測定した。アクリルゴムの割合が高い程、すなわちゴム破壊の割合が多い程、フッ素ゴムに対する接着性が良好であることを意味する。剥離強度が大きい程、また、接着界面の状況が「ゴム破壊」である場合に、架橋接着性に優れるゴム積層体であることを意味する。
ポリオール架橋系フッ素ゴムの未加硫ゴム組成物を、150×150×2mmのシート型で、温度170℃、面圧10MPa、時間20分間でプレス成形した後、170℃4時間のオーブン加硫(二次加硫)を行った。得られた加硫ゴムシートを、体積膨潤度試験用の試験片に打ち抜き、80℃168時間、試験液に浸漬し、体積膨潤度を測定した。試験液の組成は、硝酸50ppm、硫酸1500ppm、酢酸1500ppm、ギ酸5000ppm、塩酸10ppmの水溶液である。試験液のpHは約2である。
[製造例1]
温度計、攪拌装置を備えた重合反応器に、水200部、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム3部、アクリル酸エチル6部、アクリル酸2−メトキシエチル30部、アクリル酸n−ブチル60部、重量平均分子量336のポリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート1部、およびフマル酸モノシクロヘキシル3部を仕込んだ。その後、減圧脱気および窒素置換を2度繰り返して酸素を十分に除去した後、クメンハイドロパーオキシド0.005部およびホルムアルデヒドスルホキシル酸ナトリウム0.002部を加えて常圧、常温下で乳化重合反応を開始し、重合転化率が95%に達するまで反応を継続し、重合停止剤を添加して重合を停止した。得られた乳化重合液を塩化カルシウム水溶液で凝固させ、水洗、乾燥して、2級アルキルエステルを有するα,β−エチレン性不飽和カルボン酸を含有するカルボキシルキ含有アクリルゴム(1)を得た。得られたカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(1)の組成は、アクリル酸エチル単量体単位6%、アクリル酸2−メトキシエチル単位30%、アクリル酸n−ブチル単量体単位60%、および重量平均分子量336のポリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート単位1%、およびフマル酸モノシクロヘキシル単位3%(1.5×10−2ephr)であった。ポリマームーニー粘度(ML1+4、100℃)は48であった。
温度計、攪拌装置を備えた重合反応器に、水200部、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム3部、アクリル酸エチル58部、アクリル酸n−ブチル40部、およびフマル酸モノn−ブチル2部を仕込んだ以外は製造例1と同様に操作し、1級アルキルエステルを有するα,β−エチレン性不飽和カルボン酸を含有するカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(2)を得た。得られたカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(2)の組成は、アクリル酸エチル単量体単位58%、アクリル酸n−ブチル単量体単位40%、およびフマル酸モノn−ブチル単量体単位2%(1.6×10−2ephr)であった。ポリマームーニー粘度(ML1+4、100℃)は40であった。
温度計、攪拌装置を備えた重合反応器に、水200部、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム3部、アクリル酸エチル48部、アクリル酸n−ブチル48部及びアリルグリシジルエーテル4部を仕込んだ以外は製造例1と同様に操作し、エポキシ基含有アクリルゴム(3)を得た。エポキシ基含有アクリルゴム(3)の組成は、アクリル酸エチル単位48重量%、アクリル酸n−ブチル単位48重量%及びアリルグリシジルエーテル単位4重量%であり、ポリマームーニー粘度(ML1+4、100°C)は35であった。
[アクリルゴム組成物の調製]
バンバリーミキサーを用いて、製造例1で得られたカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(1)100部に、カーボンブラック(商品名「シーストSO」、東海カーボン社製、充填剤、「シースト」は登録商標)60部、ステアリン酸(商品名「ビーズステアリン酸つばき」、日油社製)2部、エステル系ワックス(商品名「グレックG−8205」、DIC社製、滑剤(加工助剤)、「グレック」は登録商標)1部、4,4’−ビス(α,α−ジメチルベンジル)ジフェニルアミン(商品名「ノクラックCD」、大内新興化学工業社製、老化防止剤、「ノクラック」は登録商標)2部を添加して、50℃で5分間混練した。次いで、得られた混練物を50℃のオープンロールに移して、ヘキサメチレンジアミンカーバメート(商品名「Diak #1」、デュポン社製、架橋剤、脂肪族ジアミン)0.5部、および、1,3−ジ−o−トリルグアニジン(商品名「ノクセラーDT」、大内新興化学工業社製、架橋促進剤、「ノクセラー」は登録商標)2部を添加して、50℃で混練することによりアクリルゴム組成物Aを得た。
オープンロールを用いて、ポリオール架橋系フッ素ゴム(商品名「Viton AL600」、ケマーズ社製、「VITON」は登録商標)100部に、カーボンブラック(商品名「サーマックスMT」、cancarb社製、充填剤、「THERMAX」は登録商標)20部、ビスフェノールAF系加硫剤(ビスフェノールAFとベンジルトリフェニルホスホニウム塩を約3:1で含む混合物、商品名「Viton VC#50」、デュポン社製)2.5部、酸化ビスマス(商品名「酸化ビスマスS」、日本化学産業社製、受酸剤)10部を添加し、50℃で混練することで、フッ素ゴム組成物Fを得た。
上記にて得られたアクリルゴム組成物とフッ素ゴム組成物とを、それぞれ、オープンロールで混練して、約2mmの均一な厚みのシートに分出し、6cm×10cmに成形することで、シート状の成形体を得た。次いで、得られたシート状の各成形体を張り合わせ、縦6cm、横10cm、深さ0.4cmの金型に入れ、プレス圧10mPaで加圧しながら、170℃で20分間架橋接着させ、さらに170℃で4時間の二次加硫を行うことにより、ゴム積層体を作製した。なお、この際において、上述した剥離試験を行うために、剥離試験時のつかみ部分に予めセロファン紙を挟むことで、両シートが接着していない部分を形成しておいた。そして、このようにして得られたゴム積層体を用いて、剥離試験を行った。結果を表1〜表3に示す。
アクリルゴム組成物を調製する際に、ヘキサメチレンジアミンカーバメート0.5部の代わりにN,N’−ジシンナミリデン−1,6−ヘキサメチレンジアミン(商品名「Diak #3」、デュポン社製、架橋剤、脂肪族ジアミン誘導体)1.08部を添加した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてアクリルゴム組成物Bを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
アクリルゴム組成物を調製する際に、カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(1)の代わりに製造例2で得られたカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(2)100部を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてアクリルゴム組成物Cを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
フッ素ゴム組成物を調製する際に、酸化ビスマスの代わりに含水酸化硝酸ビスマス(商品名「IXE−550」、東亞合成社製、受酸剤)15部を添加した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてフッ素ゴム組成物Gを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
フッ素ゴム組成物を調製する際に、酸化ビスマスの代わりに含水酸化硝酸ビスマス15部を添加した以外は、実施例2と同様にして、フッ素ゴム組成物Gを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。

アクリルゴム組成物を調製する際に、ヘキサメチレンジアミンカーバメートの代わりに2,2−ビス[4−(4−アミノフェノキシ)フェニル]プロパン(商品名「BAPP」、和歌山精化社製、架橋剤、芳香族ジアミン)1.28部を添加した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてアクリルゴム組成物Dを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
アクリルゴム組成物を調製する際に、カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(1)の代わりに製造例3で得られたカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴム(3)100部を使用し、ヘキサメチレンジアミンカーバメートの添加量を0.9部とした以外は、実施例1と同様にしてアクリルゴム組成物Eを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
フッ素ゴム組成物を調製する際に、酸化ビスマスの代わりに酸化マグネシウム(商品名「キョーワマグ#150」、協和化学工業社製、受酸剤)3部及び水酸化カルシウム(商品名「Caldic #1000」、近江化学社製、受酸剤)6部を添加した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてフッ素ゴム組成物Hを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
フッ素ゴム組成物を調製する際に、酸化ビスマスを添加しなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にしてフッ素ゴム組成物Iを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
フッ素ゴム組成物を調製する際に、ポリオール架橋系フッ素ゴムの代わりにパーオキサイド架橋系フッ素ゴム(商品名「Viton GF600S」、ケマーズ社製)100部を配合し、ビスフェノールAFおよびベンジルトリフェニルホスホニウム塩の混合物を添加せず、酸化ビスマスに加えてさらに2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(t−ブチルペルオキシ)ヘキサン(商品名「パーヘキサ25B−40」、日油社製」)1.5部およびトリアリルイソシアヌレート(商品名「TAIC」、日本化成社製、「TAIC」は登録商標)3部を添加した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてフッ素ゴム組成物Jを調製し、ゴム積層体を作製した。試験および評価の結果を表1〜表3に示す。
上記にて得られたアクリルゴム組成物とフッ素ゴム組成物とを、それぞれ、オープンロールで混練して、約2mmの均一な厚みのシートに分出し、6cm×10cmに成形することで、シート状の成形体を得た。次いで、得られたシート状の各成形体を張り合わせ、縦6cm、横10cm、深さ0.4cmの金型に入れ、プレス圧10MPaで加圧しながら、170℃で20分間架橋接着させ、さらに170℃で4時間の二次加硫を行うことにより、ゴム積層体を作製した。なお、この際において、上述した剥離試験を行うために、剥離試験時のつかみ部分に予めセロファン紙を挟むことで、両シートが接着していない部分を形成しておいた。そして、このようにして得られたゴム積層体を用いて、剥離試験を行った。結果を表1〜表3に示す。
Claims (4)
- カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムと脂肪族多価アミン化合物またはその誘導体とを少なくとも含有するアクリルゴム組成物からなるアクリルゴム層(A)と、
ポリオール架橋系フッ素ゴムおよびビスマス酸化物を少なくとも含有するフッ素ゴム組成物からなるフッ素ゴム層(B)とが、架橋接着されてなる、ゴム積層体。 - 前記カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムが、炭素数4〜12のα,β−エチレン性不飽和ジカルボン酸と炭素数1〜8のアルカノールとのモノエステル単量体単位を含有する、請求項1に記載のゴム積層体。
- 前記カルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムが、2級アルキルエステルを有するα,β−エチレン性不飽和カルボン酸単量体単位を含有するカルボキシル基含有アクリルゴムである、請求項2に記載のゴム積層体。
- 請求項1または2乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のゴム積層体を用いてなるホース。
