Abstract
Description
まず、本発明の第1の実施の形態に係る真空断熱材10について説明する。
図1に示されるように、本実施の形態に係る真空断熱材10は、外包材である外被材11と、この外被材11の内部において、減圧密閉状態(略真空状態)で封入される内部部材と、を備えている。内部部材は、外被材11が破袋(または破損等)して、内部に液体の水が浸入して水分に接触したときに、水素を伴う化学反応が生じない材料で構成されている。本実施の形態に係る真空断熱材10では、内部部材として、芯材12および吸着剤13を備えている。
本開示に係る真空断熱材10において、外被材11は、上述の通り、ガスバリア性を有することに加えて、(1)−130℃以上80℃以下の温度範囲内における、静的荷重0.05Nでの線膨張係数が80×10-5/℃以下、(2)−140℃以上−130℃以下の温度範囲内における、静的荷重0.4Nでの線膨張係数の平均値が65×10-5/℃以上、(3)−140℃以上−110℃以下の温度範囲内における、静的荷重0.4Nでの線膨張係数の平均値が20×10-5/℃以上、および、(4)+50℃以上+65℃以下の温度範囲内における、静的荷重0.4Nでの線膨張係数の平均値が13×10-5/℃以上のうち、少なくともいずれかの条件を満たしている。すなわち、外被材11は、上述の(1)〜(4)のうち、いずれかの温度−線膨張係数条件を満たす構成となっている。

実施例または比較例の外被材を、所定のサイズに切り出して試料とする。このとき、試料は、外被材の折れがなく、かつ、外被材に付着物の無い部分から採取される。試験機として、実施例1、実施例2、および比較例では、ティー・エー・インスツルメント社製TMA2940型(製品名)が用いられ、実施例3では、ティー・エー・インスツルメント社製Q400EM型(製品名)が用いられている。そして、測定モード:静的引張り、昇温速度:5℃/分、引張応力:0.05N(実施例1、実施例2、および比較例)または、0.4N(実施例3)、試験前槽内温度保持時間:10分の条件で、−140℃から+150℃の範囲内で温度を変化させて試料の線膨張係数を測定する。雰囲気ガス種、およびガス流量については、TMA2940型では、窒素および140mL/分とし、Q400EM型では、アルゴンおよび100mL/分としている。なお、試料のMD方向は、外被材を構成する表面保護層のうち、最外層の結晶配列方向としている。
真空断熱材用の外被材として、ナイロン層/ナイロン層/アルミニウム箔層/ポリエチレン層の四層構造を有する積層フィルムが用いられる。なお、この積層フィルムでは、ナイロン層/ナイロン層の二層が表面保護層であり、アルミニウム箔層がガスバリア層であり、ポリエチレン層が熱溶着層である。この積層フィルムが、12.5±0.5mm×5mmのサイズに切り出されて、上述の通り、熱膨張計数の温度依存性が評価される。この積層フィルムのMD方向の線膨張係数が、図10の実線のグラフで示され、TD方向の線膨張係数が、図10の破線のグラフで示されている。
真空断熱材用の外被材として、ナイロン層/ポリエチレンテレフタレート層/金属蒸着層/金属蒸着層/エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体層/ポリエチレン層の六層構造を有する積層フィルムが用いられる。なお、この積層フィルムでは、ナイロン層が表面保護層であり、ポリエチレンテレフタレート層/金属蒸着層/金属蒸着層/エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体層の四層がガスバリア層であり、ポリエチレン層が熱溶着層である。この積層フィルムが12.5±0.5mm×5mmのサイズに切り出されて、前述の通り、熱膨張計数の温度依存性が評価される。この積層フィルムのMD方向の線膨張係数が、図11の実線のグラフで示され、TD方向の線膨張係数が図11の破線のグラフで示されている。
比較用の外被材として、ナイロン層/ポリエチレン層の二層構造を有する積層フィルムが用いられる。この積層フィルムが12.5±0.5mm×5mmのサイズに切り出されて、前述の通り、熱膨張計数の温度依存性が評価される。この積層フィルムのMD方向の線膨張係数が、図12の実線のグラフで示され、TD方向の線膨張係数が、図12の破線のグラフで示されている。
真空断熱材用の外被材として、実施例1と同じ積層フィルムが用いられ、この積層フィルムが、8.0±0.1mm×5mmのサイズに切り出されて、第二基準温度範囲(−140℃以上−130℃以下の温度範囲)、第三基準温度範囲(−140℃以上−110℃以下の温度範囲)および、第四基準温度範囲(+50℃以上+65℃以下の温度範囲)のそれぞれにおいて、線膨張係数の平均値が算出される。その結果が表1に示されている。
真空断熱材用の外被材として、ポリエチレンテレフタレート層/金属蒸着層/ポリエチレンテレフタレート層/金属蒸着層/ポリエチレンテレフタレート層/金属蒸着層/ポリエチレン層の七層構造を有する積層フィルムが用いられている以外は、実施例3と同様に、第二基準温度範囲、第三基準温度範囲および第四基準温度範囲のそれぞれにおいて、線膨張係数の平均値が算出されている。その結果が、表1に示されている。
図10〜図12に示されるように、実施例1および実施例2の積層フィルム(外被材)は、−130℃〜+80℃の基準温度範囲において、MD方向およびTD方向のいずれも、線膨張係数が80×10-5/℃を下回っている。よって、実施例1および実施例2の積層フィルムを外被材として用いた真空断熱材では、第一基準温度範囲(−130℃〜+80℃の温度範囲)およびその周辺温度範囲において、外被材の伸縮の程度を、良好に抑制することが可能となっている。したがって、これらの積層フィルムは、低温環境または大温度差環境であっても、良好な強度および良好な耐久性のうち、少なくともいずれかを実現し得る外被材であることが分かる。

- 少なくとも樹脂成分を含む外被材と、前記外被材の内部において、減圧密閉状態で封入された芯材と、を備え、
前記外被材は、ガスバリア性を有するとともに、
(1)−130℃以上80℃以下の温度範囲内における、静的荷重0.05Nでの線膨張係数が80×10-5/℃以下、
(2)−140℃以上−130℃以下の温度範囲内における、静的荷重0.4Nでの線膨張係数の平均値が65×10-5/℃以上、
(3)−140℃以上−110℃以下の温度範囲内における、静的荷重0.4Nでの線膨張係数の平均値が20×10-5/℃以上、および、
