Abstract
Description
また、電池パックの充電を制御する制御基板を収容すると共に該電池パックが着脱可能なハウジングと、該ハウジングの内部に収容され、該制御基板により駆動される冷却ファンと、有し、該冷却ファンは、該電池パックが該ハウジングに装着されているとき及び該電池パックが該ハウジングから外された後も該制御基板により駆動される充電装置を提供する。
また、該制御部は、該ハウジングの内部の温度と、該電池パックの該ハウジングへの装着有無とに基づいて該冷却ファンの回転速度を制御することが好ましい。
また、該制御部は、該ハウジングの内部の温度が所定の温度の場合において、該電池パックの該ハウジングへの装着有無に応じて該冷却ファンの回転速度が異なるように制御することが好ましい。
該制御部は、該電池パックの内部の温度、該ハウジングの内部の温度、及び該電池パックの該ハウジングへの装着有無に応じて該冷却ファンの回転速度を制御することが好ましい。
Claims (10)
- 電池パックを着脱可能なハウジングと、
該ハウジングに設けられ、該電池パックの非装着時においても該ハウジング内に冷却風を発生させるよう稼働可能な冷却ファンと、を有することを特徴とする充電装置。 - 該ハウジングは、該電池パックの充電を制御する制御基板を収容すると共に、該電池パックが装着された際に該電池パックに設けられた通気孔と対向可能に設けられた通風孔を有し、
該冷却ファンにより発生した該冷却風により該電池パック及び該制御基板の少なくとも一方を冷却可能としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充電装置。 - 該通風孔を開閉可能な開閉装置をさらに備え、
該開閉装置は、該電池パックの装着時には該通風孔を開放し、該電池パックの非装着時には該通風孔を閉鎖することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の充電装置。 - 該通風孔を開閉可能な開閉装置をさらに備え、該開閉装置は、該電池パックの装着時において、該電池パックの内部の温度が高くなると該通風孔を開放し、該電池パックの内部の温度が下がると該通風孔を閉鎖することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の充電装置。
- 該開閉装置は、バイメタルによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の充電装置。
- 該ハウジングの内部の温度を検出する温度検出手段をさらに備え、
該ハウジングの内部の温度に応じて該冷却ファンの回転速度を制御することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の充電装置。 - 該ハウジングの内部の温度が所定の温度以下になると、該冷却ファンを停止することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の充電装置。
- 該電池パックの内部の温度を検出する電池温度検出手段をさらに備え、
該電池パックの内部の温度に応じて該冷却ファンの回転速度を制御することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の充電装置。 - 該ハウジングの内部または該電池パックの内部の温度状態を表示する表示部をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項6乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の充電装置。
- 電池パックの充電を制御する制御基板を収容すると共に該電池パックが着脱可能なハウジングと、
該ハウジングの内部に収容され、該制御基板により駆動される冷却ファンと、有し、
該冷却ファンは、該電池パックが該ハウジングから外された後も該制御基板により駆動されることを特徴とする充電装置。
