Abstract
Description
本願は、2012年9月12日に、日本に出願された特願2012−200118号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
(1)本発明の一態様に係る固体被膜形成用組成物は、水と双極性非プロトン溶媒とを含む混合溶媒中に、前記双極性非プロトン溶媒に対して少なくとも部分的に可溶性を有する粉末状有機樹脂を含有させた組成物であり、前記粉末状有機樹脂が前記混合溶媒中に溶解状態または分散状態で存在している。
鋼管Aの両端には、雄ねじ部3aを有するピン1が設けられている。雄ねじ部3aは、ピン1の外面に形成されている。ねじ継手部品(カップリング)Bの両側には、雌ねじ部3bを有するボックス2が設けられている。雌ねじ部3bは、ボックス2の内面に形成されている。ピン1は、雄ねじ部3aを有する方のねじ継手部材である。ボックス2は、雌ねじ部3bを有する方のねじ継手部材である。管状ねじ継手は、ピン1とボックス2とで構成される。
本実施形態では、ねじ継手のピン1とボックス2の少なくとも一方の部材の、少なくともねじ無し金属接触部(シール部4a,4bおよびショルダー部5a,5b)を含む接触表面に、水と双極性非プロトン溶媒とを含む混合溶媒中に、双極性非プロトン溶媒に対して少なくとも部分的に可溶性を有する粉末状有機樹脂を含有させた組成物であり、該粉末状有機樹脂が上記混合溶媒中に溶解状態または分散状態で存在している固体被膜形成用組成物を用いて固体被膜を形成する。
ピン1および/またはボックス2の接触表面に固体被膜を形成したねじ継手は、その接触表面に固体被膜を形成する前に、接触表面に粗面化のための下地処理を施して、切削加工後の表面粗さである3〜5μmより表面粗さが大きくなるようにしておくと、耐焼付き性が向上することが多い。したがって、固体被膜を形成する前に、接触表面を下地処理して粗面化しておくことが好ましい。
別の下地処理として、粗面化効果はほとんどないが、特定の単層または複層電気めっきを施すと、固体被膜と下地との密着性がよくなり、管状ねじ継手の耐焼付き性が改善されることがある。
管状ねじ継手のピン1とボックス2の一方の部材(例、ボックス2)の接触表面だけに、固体被膜を形成した場合、固体被膜で被覆されない他方の部材(例、ピン1)の接触表面は、未処理のままでもよいが、好ましくは、前述した粗面化のための下地処理を施して、接触表面を粗面化する。すなわち、粗面化は、ブラスト処理、酸洗、リン酸塩や蓚酸塩、硼酸塩などによる化成処理、電気めっき、固体微粒子を含有するめっき被膜を形成する複合めっき、およびそれらの2種以上の組み合わせを採用して実施することができる。固体被膜は、被覆されている相手側部材と締結された時に、固体被膜を有していない他方の部材の接触表面が粗面化によるアンカー効果によって良好な保持性を示す。これにより、管状ねじ継手の耐焼付き性が高まる。
表1に示す組成AのCr−Mo鋼製のプレミアムねじ継手のピン表面およびボックス表面に、表3の実施例1に示す下地処理と固体被膜構成となるように表面処理を施した。
表1に示す組成Bの13%Cr鋼製のプレミアムねじ継手のピン表面およびボックス表面に、表3の実施例2に示す下地処理と固体被膜構成となるように表面処理を施した。
表1に示す組成Cの25%Cr鋼製のプレミアムねじ継手のピン表面およびボックス表面に、表3の実施例3に示す下地処理と固体被膜構成となるように表面処理を施した。
表1に示す組成AのCr−Mo鋼製のプレミアムねじ継手のピン表面およびボックス表面に、表3の実施例4に示す下地処理と固体被膜構成となるように表面処理を施した。
表1に示す組成AのCr−Mo鋼製のプレミアムねじ継手に対して、表2の比較例1の下地処理を施し、鉛などの重金属を含有するグリス(API規格BUL 5A2に規定された粘稠液体状のコンパウンドグリス)を塗布した。
表1に示す組成AのCr−Mo鋼製のプレミアムねじ継手のピン表面およびボックス表面に、表3の比較例2に示す下地処理と固体被膜構成となるように表面処理を施した。

(1)本発明の一態様に係る固体被膜形成用組成物は、管状ねじ継手のピンとボックスの少なくとも一方の部材の接触表面に形成する固体皮膜に用いられ、水と双極性非プロトン溶媒とからなる混合溶媒中に、ポリアミドイミド樹脂、エポキシ樹脂から選ばれた1種以上からなる粉末状有機樹脂を含有させた組成物であり、前記粉末状有機樹脂が前記混合溶媒中に溶解状態または分散状態で存在している。
Claims (7)
- 水と双極性非プロトン溶媒とを含む混合溶媒中に、前記双極性非プロトン溶媒に対して少なくとも部分的に可溶性を有する粉末状有機樹脂を含有させた組成物であり、前記粉末状有機樹脂が前記混合溶媒中に溶解状態または分散状態で存在していることを特徴とする固体被膜形成用組成物。
- さらに潤滑性粒子を含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体被膜形成用組成物。
- 前記粉末状有機樹脂が、ポリアミドイミド樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、およびフッ素樹脂から選ばれた1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の固体被膜形成用組成物。
- 前記双極性非プロトン溶媒が、N−メチルピロリドン、ジメチルアセトアミド、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルスルホキシド、およびγ−ブチロラクトンから選ばれた1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の固体被膜形成用組成物。
- ねじ部とねじ無し金属接触部とを含む接触表面をそれぞれ備えたピンとボックスとから構成される管状ねじ継手であって、
前記ピンと前記ボックスの少なくとも一方の部材の接触表面が請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の固体被膜形成用組成物から形成された固体被膜を有することを特徴とする管状ねじ継手。 - 前記固体被膜が、潤滑性粒子を含有していない第一層と、その上に形成された、潤滑性粒子を含有する第二層とを有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の管状ねじ継手。
- 前記固体被膜の膜厚が5〜100μmであることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の管状ねじ継手。
