Description
本実施形態のねじ部品用防錆処理液は、水系のバインダー樹脂と、顔料と、必要に応じて 摩擦係数調製剤であるワックスを含む。バインダー樹脂は、塗料組成物の調製時、エマルションの形態で使用されてもよいし、溶液の形態で使用されてもよい。水系のバインダー樹脂は、カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる樹脂を含む。 カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる樹脂は、カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性エポキシ樹脂もしくはカルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性アクリル樹脂の少なくとも何れかであることが好ましい。
上記変性エポキシ樹脂は、エポキシ樹脂(a1)、グリシジル基含有ラジカル重合性不飽和単量体(a2)及びアミン類(a3)を反応させてなる変性エポキシ樹脂(A1)の存在下に、アクリレート系単量体(A2)及びカルボキシル基含有ラジカル重合性不飽和単量体(A3)を必須成分とする不飽和単量体を重合反応させて得られる。
上記変性アクリル樹脂は、アクリル樹脂(b1)、グリシジル基含有ラジカル重合性不飽和単量体(b2)及びアミン類(b3)を反応させてなる変性アクリル樹脂(B1)の存在下に、アクリレート系単量体(B2)及びカルボキシル基含有ラジカル重合性不飽和単量体(B3)を必須成分とする不飽和単量体を重合反応させて得られる。
ねじ部品用防錆処理液は、上述した各成分を混合し攪拌することにより調整される。各成分の混合する順番は、限定されるものではなく、任意の順番で混合することが可能である。そして、調整されたねじ部品用防錆処理液が、ねじ部品の表面に塗布される。ねじ部品の表面への塗布は、浸漬,ロール塗布,スプレー,刷毛塗り,スピンコート等 、ねじの大きさ,形状等に応じて種々の手法を採用することが可能である。
(A)金属珪酸塩と樹脂バインダー中のシリカの脱水縮合。
(B)樹脂バインダー中のシリカと樹脂の脱水縮合。
(C)樹脂バインダー中の樹脂同士の脱水縮合。
カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性エポキシ樹脂を30質量%、シリカを含有するバインダー24質量%、ポリエチレンワックスを23質量%、紫色顔料を0.4質量%、水を22.6質量%の比率で攪拌混合し、ねじ部品用防錆処理液を調製した。この処理液は温度安定性に優れ、0℃〜50℃の間で性状の変化はない。予め溶融亜鉛めっきにより耐食膜が形成された鋼鉄製ボルト(M14)をこのねじ部品用防錆処理液に浸漬したうえ取り出し、遠心脱水機を用いて脱水した。その後、室温で乾燥させ、耐食膜上に防錆皮膜を形成した。この防錆皮膜は、カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマー を側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性エポキシ樹脂と、シリカバインダーを含むねじ部品用防錆処理液を重合させてなる 網目構造のポリマーからなる。
カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性アクリル樹脂を28質量%、シリカを含有するバインダー44質量%、青色顔料を0.1質量%、水を27.9質量%の比率で攪拌混合し、ねじ部品用防錆処理液を調製した。予め溶融亜鉛めっきにより耐食膜が形成された鋼鉄製ボルト(M14)をこのねじ部品用防錆処理液に浸漬したうえ取り出し、遠心脱水機を用いて脱水した。その後、室温で乾燥させ、耐食膜上に防錆皮膜を形成した。この防錆皮膜は、カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性アクリル樹脂を含むねじ部品用防錆処理液を重合させてなる 網目構造のポリマーからなる。

Claims (8)
- カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性エポキシ樹脂またはカルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性アクリル樹脂の少なくとも何れかと、シリカを含有する水溶性のバインダー樹脂を、有機溶剤を用いることなく水と混合したことを特徴とするねじ部品用防錆処理液。
- 前記バインダー樹脂が、前記変性エポキシ樹脂と前記シリカを含有し、
該バインダー樹脂中における変性エポキシ樹脂の割合が、20〜40質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のねじ部品用防錆処理液。 - 前記バインダー樹脂と、ワックスを含有することを特徴とする請求項2記載のねじ部品用防錆処理液。
- 前記バインダー樹脂が、前記変性アクリル樹脂と前記シリカを含有し、
該バインダー樹脂中における変性アクリル樹脂の割合が、20〜40質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のねじ部品用防錆処理液。 - ねじ部品の表面に、耐食膜を形成する工程と、
該耐食膜の表面に、カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性エポキシ樹脂またはカルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性アクリル樹脂の少なくとも何れかと、シリカを含有する水溶性のバインダー樹脂を、有機溶剤を用いることなく水と混合した防錆処理液を塗布して防錆処理液塗布膜を塗布する工程を有することを特徴とする防錆処理されたねじ部品の製造方法。 - 鉄素地の表面に、耐食膜と防錆皮膜が順次形成された防錆処理されたねじ部品であって、前記防錆皮膜は、カルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性エポキシ樹脂またはカルボン酸含有アクリルポリマーを側鎖としてグラフト重合してなる変性アクリル樹脂と、シリカバインダーを含む水溶性で有機溶媒を含まないねじ部品用防錆処理液を重合させてなる網目構造のポリマーからなることを特徴とする防錆処理されたねじ部品。
- 前記耐食膜の表層に不溶性の金属珪酸塩を含有することを特徴とする請求項6記載の防錆処理されたねじ部品。
- 前記金属珪酸塩が、オルト珪酸カルシウム、メタ珪酸カルシウム、珪酸カルシウムナトリウム、オルト珪酸マグネシウム、メタ珪酸マグネシウム、珪酸マグネシウムカルシウム、オルト珪酸亜鉛及びメタ珪酸亜鉛からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも何れかの金属珪酸塩であることを特徴とする請求項7記載の防錆処理されたねじ部品。
