Abstract
Description
また、AV機器等に用いられているスピンドルモータにおいては、回転軸と軸受との摩擦抵抗(軸ロス)を減少させ、連続回転時の温度上昇を抑制する潤滑油が求められている。そこで、基油に対して脂肪酸金属塩と、さらにこれにリン酸エステル類またはそのアミン塩と硫黄系極圧剤のうち少なくとも一種を添加してなる含油軸受用潤滑油が提案されている(特許文献1参照)。
(2)上述の(1)に記載の潤滑油組成物において、さらに、(D)アルケニルコハク酸多価アルコールエステルを配合してなることを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。
(3)上述の(1)または(2)に記載の潤滑油組成物において、さらに、(E)ベンゾトリアゾールもしくはその誘導体を配合してなることを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。
(4)上述の(1)から(3)までのいずれか1つに記載の潤滑油組成物において、前記基油が炭化水素系基油であることを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。
(5)上述の(1)から(4)までのいずれか1つに記載の潤滑油組成物が含油軸受用であることを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。
(6)上述の(5)に記載の潤滑油組成物において、前記含油軸受が合成樹脂製ディスクの回転駆動用モータに使用されることを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。
本組成物に用いられる基油としては、特に制限はない。ただし、本組成物を含油軸受用として合成樹脂製ディスクの回転駆動用モータに適用する場合には、炭化水素系基油が好ましい。ここで、合成樹脂製ディスクとは、DVD(DVD−R、DVD−RAM、DVD−RW等)やブルーレイディスク等のような光学ディスクを意味する。
エステル系基油やエーテル系基油のような極性を有する基油を用いると、合成樹脂製ディスク表面を変質させ、読み取りエラーのような問題を生じさせるおそれがあるからである。
炭化水素系基油としては、ポリオレフィンが好ましく、例えば、α-オレフィン単独重合体、α-オレフィン共重合体が挙げられる。これらの基油は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
本組成物に用いられる(A)成分は、リン酸エステルである。リン酸エステルは、極圧剤として作用するものが耐摩耗性の観点より好適である。
このようなリン酸エステルとしては、例えば、トリアリールホスフェート、トリアルキルホスフェート、トリアルキルアリールホスフェート、トリアリールアルキルホスフェート、トリアルケニルホスフェート等が挙げられ、具体的には、トリフェニルホスフェート、トリクレジルホスフェート、ベンジルジフェニルホスフェート、エチルジフェニルホスフェート、トリブチルホスフェート、エチルジブチルホスフェート、クレジルジフェニルホスフェート、ジクレジルフェニルホスフェート、エチルフェニルジフェニルホスフェート、ジエチルフェニルフェニルホスフェート、プロピルフェニルジフェニルホスフェート、ジブロピルフェニルフェニルホスフェート、トリエチルフェニルホスフェート、トリプロピルフェニルホスフェート、ブチルフェニルジフェニルホスフェート、ジブチルフェニルフェニルホスフェート、トリブチルフェニルホスフェート、トリヘキシルホスフェート、トリ(2−エチルヘキシル)ホスフェート、トリデシルホスフェート、トリラウリルホスフェート、トリミリスチルホスフェート、トリパルミチルホスフェート、トリステアリルホスフェート、およびトリオレイルホスフェート等を挙げることができる。
なお、リン換算量であれば、(A)成分の配合量は、本組成物全量基準で150質量ppm以上3000質量ppm以下が好ましく、300質量ppm以上2000質量ppm以下がより好ましい。
本組成物に用いられる(B)成分は、チオリン酸エステルである。チオリン酸エステルは、本組成物において酸化安定性を保ちつつ耐摩耗性を向上させる効果を奏する。
このようなチオリン酸エステルとしては、例えば、トリブチルホスフォロチオネート、トリペンチルホスフォロチオネート、トリヘキシルホスフォロチオネート、トリヘプチルホスフォロチオネート、トリオクチルホスフォロチオネート、トリノニルホスフォロチオネート、トリデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリウンデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリドデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリトリデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリテトラデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリペンタデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリヘキサデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリヘプタデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリオクタデシルホスフォロチオネート、トリオレイルホスフォロチオネート、トリフェニルホスフォロチオネート、トリクレジルホスフォロチオネート、トリキシレニルホスフォロチオネート、クレジルジフェニルホスフォロチオネート、キシレニルジフェニルホスフォロチオネート、トリス(n−プロピルフェニル)ホスフォロチオネート、トリス(イソプロピルフェニル)ホスフォロチオネート、トリス(n−ブチルフェニル)ホスフォロチオネート、トリス(イソブチルフェニル)ホスフォロチオネート、トリス(s−ブチルフェニル)ホスフォロチオネート、トリス(t−ブチルフェニル)ホスフォロチオネート、およびトリス(2,4−C9−C10イソアルキルフェノール)チオホスフェート等が挙げられる。
本組成物に用いられる(C)成分は、ナフチルアミン誘導体である。ナフチルアミン誘導体は、本組成物において、酸化安定性を保ちつつ蒸発性を抑える効果を奏する。
このようなナフチルアミン誘導体としては、特に、下記一般式(1)に示すフェニル−α−ナフチルアミンおよびその誘導体(以下、これらを単に「ナフチルアミン」ともいう。)が好ましい。
また、Rがアルキル基である場合、フェニル基の任意の位置に結合可能であるがアミノ基に対してp−位であることが好ましい。さらに、アミノ基はナフチル基の任意の位置に結合可能であるが、α位であることが好ましい。
上記式(1)で示されるナフチルアミンは1種を単独で用いてもよいし、構造の異なる2種以上の混合物を用いてもよい。
このような(D)成分は、例えば、アルケニル基の炭素数が12以上20以下であるアルケニルコハク酸と、多価アルコールとのエステルである。
このようなアルケニル基とは、ドデセニル、ヘキサデセニル、オクタデセニルおよびイソオクタデセニル等であり、アルケニル基の炭素数が12未満では、摩擦係数がやや大きくなるおそれがある。一方、アルケニル基の炭素数が20を超えると防錆性を発揮できなくなるおそれがある。
多価アルコールとしては、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、ヘキシレングリコールおよびこれらの異性体等の飽和二価アルコールの他、トリメチロールプロパン、トリメチロールブタン、グリセリン、ペンタエリスリトール、ジペンタエリスリトール等の三価以上の飽和多価アルコールが挙げられる。これらの中では、炭素数3〜4の飽和二価アルコール、即ちプロピレングリコールおよびブチレングリコール、並びにトリメチロールプロパン、グリセリン及びペンタエリスリトールの使用が、潤滑性の観点より好ましい。
抗乳化剤としては、ポリアルキレングリコールや金属スルホネートなどを挙げることができ、中でもEO/POブロック共重合体(EOはエチレンオキサイド、POはプロピレンオキサイドを意味する)であって、両末端がOHのポリアルキレングリコールが好ましい。
防錆剤としては、金属系スルホネート、カルボン酸、アルカノールアミン、酸アミド、リン酸エステルの金属塩などを挙げることができ、中でもカルボン酸が好ましい。
清浄分散剤としては、金属スルホネート、金属フェネート、金属サリチレート、金属ホスホネート、コハク酸イミドなど挙げることができる。
消泡剤としては、メチルシリコーン、フルオロシリコーン、ポリアクリレートなどを挙げることができ、中でもメチルシリコーンが好ましい。
表1〜3に示す配合組成の潤滑油組成物(試料油)を調製した。
基油1:PAO、40℃動粘度 30mm2/s
基油2:PAO、40℃動粘度 17mm2/s
化合物1:モノブチルフェニルモノオクチルフェニルアミン
化合物2:p−t−オクチルフェニル−1−ナフチルアミン((C)成分)
化合物3:N−ジアルキルアミノメチルベンゾトリアゾール((E)成分)
化合物4:アルケニルコハク酸多価アルコールエステル(ドデセニルコハク酸のPO付加物)((D)成分)
化合物5:ジチオリン酸エステル
化合物6:トリフェニルホスフォロチオネート((B)成分)
化合物7:トリクレジルホスフェート((A)成分)
化合物8:トリス(2,4−C9−C10イソアルキルフェノール)チオホスフェート((B)成分)
化合物9:ジチオグリコール酸ジブチル
化合物10:ジオレイルハイドロゲンホスホネート
化合物11:アルミニウムステアレート
(1)動粘度(40℃、100℃)および粘度指数
JIS K 2283に準拠して測定した。
(2)酸価
JIS K2501に規定される「潤滑油中和試験方法」に準拠し、電位差法により測定した。
(3)色相(ASTM色)
JIS K 2580に準拠して測定した。
(4)リン含有量(P)
JPI−5S−38−92に準拠して測定した。
(5)硫黄含有量(S)
JIS K 2541に準拠して測定した。
JIS K 2514に準拠して行った。具体的には、試料油を165.5℃に保ち、鋼-銅触媒存在の下、1300rpmで強制攪拌し、周りの空気を攪拌により試料油内に取り込みながら24時間保持した。その後、上述した(1)〜(5)の各性状について再度測定した。
(7)ロータリーボンベ式酸化安定性試験
JIS K 2514に準拠して、圧力降下の終点に至る時間(min)を測定した。
(8)スラッジ生成量
上述のISOT試験後の試料油について、JIS K 2514−1996に準じて、生成したスラッジを孔径0.8μmのミリポアフィルターで捕集してその量(mg/100mL)を測定した。
(9)振子試験
JASO M 314に規定される試験機を用いて、温度を室温で評価し、摩擦係数を求めた。
ASTM D 4172に準拠して、荷重392N、回転数1200rpm、油温80℃、試験時間60分の条件で行った。1/2インチ球3個の摩耗痕径を平均して平均摩耗痕径(mm)を算出し、報告値とした。
(11)ファレックス摩耗試験
ASTM D2670に規定される、ファレックス試験機を用いて、荷重890N、回転数1800rpm、油温80℃、試験時間60分の条件で行い、ピンの摩耗量(mg)を測定した。なお、ピンの材質は、AISI/SAE−3135鋼、ブロックの材質はAISI−1137鋼である。
(12)LFW−1式摩耗試験
JASO M358などに規定されている、LFW−1式のブロック オン リング試験機を用い、回転数1800rpm、荷重(150N、200N、250Nのステップ荷重を各10分間)の条件で室温で試験を行い、試験後のブロックの摩耗痕深さ(mm)を測定した。なお、慣らし運転は、荷重50N、回転数100rpmで行った。
JIS K 2540に準拠した容器に、試料油を1gと鉄粉1gを充填し、150℃の恒温雰囲気下で7日間放置し、試験前後の質量から、当初の試料油に対する蒸発量を質量百分率で示した。
表1〜3の結果より、本発明の潤滑油組成物である実施例1〜4の試料油では、上述した(A)成分、(B)成分、および(C)成分が基油に配合されているので、いずれも耐摩耗性に優れ、高温下でもスラッジの生成量が少なく、さらに蒸発特性にも優れている。一方、比較例1〜14の試料油では、上述の配合成分のいずれかを欠いているため、上述した特性をすべて満たすことはできない。
Claims (6)
- 基油に、(A)リン酸エステルと、(B)チオリン酸エステルと、(C)ナフチルアミン誘導体とを配合してなる
ことを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の潤滑油組成物において、
さらに、(D)アルケニルコハク酸多価アルコールエステルを配合してなる
ことを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の潤滑油組成物において、
さらに、(E)ベンゾトリアゾールもしくはその誘導体を配合してなる
ことを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。 - 請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑油組成物において、
前記基油が炭化水素系基油である
ことを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。 - 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑油組成物が含油軸受用である
