出発原料としての酸化リチウム(Li2O)を25モル%、酸化マグネシウム(MgO)を50モル%、酸化リン(P2O5)を25モル%となるように秤量し、遊星型ボールミル装置を用いて、室温、回転数450rpm、の条件で20時間のメカニカルミリング処理を施した。仕込み組成比は、LiMgPO4となる比率である。得られた粉末のX線回折パターンを図1に示す。図1から、得られた粉末はLiMgPO4カードデータに帰属されることから、オリビン型構造をもつLiMgPO4が生成していることが明らかである。

Claims (7)
- SiOx(0.3≦x≦1.6)で表されるケイ素酸化物からなるSiO系粒子よりなる第一の粒子と、Li(リチウム)、Mg(マグネシウム)、P(リン)及びO(酸素)からなる化合物よりなる第二の粒子と、の混合物を含むことを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池用負極。
- 前記第二の粒子はLiMgPO4である請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用負極。
- 前記第一の粒子は、前記SiO系粒子と、炭素材料からなり前記SiO系粒子の表面を被覆する被覆層と、からなる請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用負極。
- 前記第二の粒子の平均粒径は5μm以下であり、前記第二の粒子の平均粒径は前記第一の粒子の平均粒径より小さい請求項1又は請求項2に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用負極。
- 前記第二の粒子は、前記混合物中に1質量%以上且つ20質量%以下の範囲で含まれている請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用負極。
- 前記SiO系粒子はSiO2相とSi相とからなり、該SiO2相にはLixSiyOzで表される酸化物系化合物が含まれている請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用負極。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の負極を用いたことを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。
