前記改質層及び前記酸化発熱層が、円筒形状であって且つ半径方向内側から内側改質層、酸化発熱層、外側改質層の順に配置された3重円管構造を有しており、
前記内側改質層及び外側改質層に充填される改質触媒の少なくとも一部がRu金属を含むことを特徴とする。
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも一部に改質触媒が充填されており、該改質触媒に炭化水素又は脂肪族アルコールと水蒸気との混合物を接触させ、改質反応により水素を主成分とする改質ガスを製造するための改質層と、少なくとも一部に酸化触媒が充填されており、前記改質ガスの一部を酸化して熱を発生させるための酸化発熱層とを備え、前記改質層が前記酸化発熱層の上流側に配置されており、
前記改質層及び前記酸化発熱層が、円筒形状であって且つ半径方向内側から内側改質層、酸化発熱層、外側改質層の順に配置された3重円管構造を有しており、
前記内側改質層及び外側改質層に充填される改質触媒の少なくとも一部がRu金属を含むことを特徴とする酸化自己熱型改質装置。 - 前記酸化発熱層に酸化性ガスを供給するための手段として、酸化性ガス噴出し口を複数設けた管状リングを前記酸化発熱層に設置したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。
- 前記酸化発熱層に酸化触媒と改質触媒との混合物が充填されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。
- 前記酸化発熱層に酸化触媒と伝熱粒子との混合物が充填されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。
- 前記酸化発熱層に酸化触媒と改質触媒と伝熱粒子との混合物が充填されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。
- 前記酸化発熱層に充填される混合物中の改質触媒がNi金属及び/又はRh金属を含むことを特徴とする請求項3又は5に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。
- 前記酸化発熱層に充填される混合物中の酸化触媒に対する改質触媒の容量比が4以上40以下であることを特徴とする請求項3又は5に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。
- 前記酸化発熱層に充填される混合物中の酸化触媒に対する伝熱粒子の容量比が4以上40以下であることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。
- 前記酸化発熱層が、少なくとも酸化触媒を含む部分と、少なくとも伝熱粒子を含む部分とから構成され、少なくとも酸化触媒を含む部分が少なくとも伝熱粒子を含む部分の上流側に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の酸化自己熱型改質装置。

前記内側改質層及び外側改質層に炭化水素又は脂肪族アルコールと水蒸気との混合物を供給し、改質反応により水素を主成分とする改質ガスを生成させた後、
該改質ガスを前記酸化発熱層に供給し、該改質ガスの一部を酸化して熱を発生させると共に、該改質ガスの改質を更に進めることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の酸化自己熱型改質方法。 - 前記内側改質層及び外側改質層における改質反応に必要な熱を、前記酸化発熱層において発生させた熱で補うことにより熱自立させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の酸化自己熱型改質方法。
- 前記酸化発熱層を少なくとも酸化触媒を含む部分と該酸化触媒を含む部分の下流側に配置された少なくとも伝熱粒子を含む部分とから構成し、酸化発熱層の少なくとも酸化触媒を含む部分で発生させた熱を酸化発熱層の少なくとも伝熱粒子を含む部分に伝え、該伝熱粒子を含む部分から前記内側改質層及び外側改質層に熱を伝えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の酸化自己熱型改質方法。
- 前記炭化水素又は脂肪族アルコールと水蒸気との混合物が、軽油、ナフサ、灯油及びガソリンからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種と水蒸気との混合物であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の酸化自己熱型改質方法。
