Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute sequentially continuous casting of a cast slab having good quality by drawing the preceded cast slab as remaining impurity in a tundish and casting the following cast slab through the tundish, which the impurity is removed, after charging sequence block on the preceded cast slab. CONSTITUTION:Molten steel in the tundish 1 is poured into a mold 4 and the cast slab 15 is drawn and the impurity A1 is remained in the tundish 1 and the preceded cast slab 15 is drawn and once drawing is stopped. Next, the sequence block 13 composing of connecting metal 13a, and shield plate 13b and a guide plate 14 are positioned above the mold 4 by a carrying device 12. The sequence block 13 is charged at non-solidified part in rear end of the preceded cast slab 15 and oxygen gas is injected to the tundish 1 and the impurity A1 in the tundish 1 is discharged into a slag bag 11 through the guide plate 14. Next, the carrying device 12 is shifted and the molten steel B having different steel kind is charged in the tundish 1 and the drawing of the preceded cast slab 15 is restarted and the molten steel B having different steel kind is poured on the sequence block 13 and the sequentially continuous casting between the preceded cast slab 15 and the following cast slab 16, is executed.
