Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title material having excellent strength, deep drawability and stress corrosion cracking resistance at low cost by adding specific amounts of Zn, Sn, Ni, Mn and other elements to Cu and alloying the same. CONSTITUTION:The Cu-based alloy contg., by weight, 3-20% Zn, 0.1-4.0% Sn, 1-15% Ni and 0.001-2.0% Mn and contg., as secondary components, 0.001-2.0% total of one or more kinds selected from the group of each 0.001-2.0% Cr, Co, Zr, Be, As, P, Pb, Si, Ti, Mg, Fe and Al is used as the material for a sealed type piezoelectric (quartz) vibrator case. The title material having excellent strength, solderability, corrosion resistance, deep drawability and stress corrosion cracking resistance can be obtd. at lower cost than German silver which has been used conventionally.
