Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the titled material having excellent strength, solderability, corrosion resistance, deep drawability and stress corrosion cracking resistance by adding specific amounts of Zn, Sn and other elements to Cu and alloying. CONSTITUTION:The Cu-based alloy contg., by weight, 20-40% Zn and 3-10% Sn, or furthermore contg. 0.001-2.1% total of one or more kinds selected from among the group of Cr, Co, Zr, Be, As, P, Pb, Si, Ti, Mn, Mg, Fe and Al of each 0.001-2.0% or contg. independently or compositely 1-15% Ni is used as the material for a sealed-type piezoelectric (quartz) vibrator case. The title material having excellent characteristics equal to or above those of German silver which has been used conventionally is obtd. at low cost.
