Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable overlaying with excellent wear resistance and lead oxide corrosion resistance by using a powder material for plasma powder build-up welding limited in component compsn. CONSTITUTION:The powder for plasma powder build-up welding contg., by weight, 1.0-2.5% C, 0.4-1.5% Si, 0.2-1.5% Mn, 10-25% Ni, 28-37% Cr, 3-15% Mo, 0.2-8% W, 0.0005-0.008% Al, and 0.01-0.05% O, and consisting of the balance Fe and impurities is used. The hardened powder having the good build-up weldability and the excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance is obtd. by controlling the contents of Al and O in the above-mentioned essential compsn. The above-mentioned purpose is attained by the inexpensive Fe-base alloy.
