Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the fluctuation of the thickness and the occurrence of the thermal distortion caused by the brazing by arranging a thin flexible sheet over the whole periphery between both faces of the periphery of a separator main body and a mask plate and sealing both of them. CONSTITUTION:Corrugated plates 12, 13 are overlapped on both front and back faces of a center plate 11 to form a separator main body 10. The outer shape size of the mask plate 14 is made nearly the same size as that of the center plate 11, a flexible sheet 15 with the minimum thickness required to prevent the gas leakage between the center plate 11 and the mask plate 14 is connected and sealed at the brazing section 17 by the seam brazing over the whole periphery. The mask plate 14 is just mounted on the separator or a tile 1 and not fixed directly to the separator, thus the fluctuation of the thickness and the occurrence of the thermal distortion caused by the brazing can be prevented.
