Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 is provided with a metallic stripe 6, e.g. Pt, Mo. W, etc. with thermal expansion coefficient approximate to that of glass on the part for the formation of a solar battery element 5. A transparent conductive film 2, amonphous Si film 3 and metallic electrode film 4 are laminated thereon to form the element 5. The series connection of the element 5 in direction A reduces connection resistance by the metallic stripe 6 arranged in direction A.
