Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the runaway of an engine by suspending the fuel feed into the engine when an anomaly is detected in an auxiliary air controller and the engine revolution speed is over a prescribed value, in the constitution in which an auxiliary air passage which makes a detour around a throttle valve and in which an auxiliary air control valve is installed is formed. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary air control valve C is installed in an auxiliary air passage B connected to an intake passage so as to make a detour around a throttle valve A. The excessive rise of the intake negative pressure is regulated by duty-controlling the auxiliary air control valve C by an auxiliary air controller D in the case when the throttle valve A is perfectly closed in deceleration operation, and the engine revolution speed is feedback-controlled so as to maintain an aimed idle revolution speed in idle operation. In this case, an anomaly detecting means E for detecting the anomaly of the auxiliary air controller D and an engine revolution speed detecting means F are installed. When an anomaly is detected and the engine revolution speed is over a prescribed value, fuel feed into an engine is suspended by a fuel feed stop means G.
