Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance combustion efficiency and reduce fuel consumption, by detecting the running conditions of an engine to control the flow rate of a cooling fluid on the basis of the detected signals. CONSTITUTION:A rotation sensor 9, a negative intake pressure sensor 10, a sucked air quantity sensor 11, a throttle valve opening degree sensor 12 and a temperature sensor 13 are provided as means for detecting the running conditions of an engine. Detected signals sent from these sensors are entered into a control unit 14. The control unit 14 predetermines an appropriate temperature for a cooling fluid on the basis of the signals and supplies a signals Sc to drive a flow control means 15 for the cooling liquid.
