Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable air-fuel ratio to be always high accurately controlled by calculating a cylinder suction air amount considering a throttle valve opening and an auxiliary air control valve opening in addition to an engine speed and a suction air amount and calculating a fuel supply amount in accordance with the cylinder suction air amount. CONSTITUTION:In the case of an internal combustion engine formed by providing an auxiliary air control valve interposing in an auxiliary air passage formed in such a manner as bypassing a throttle valve mounted interposing in an intake system, the engine provides an engine speed detecting means A, suction air flow amount detecting means B, throttle valve opening detecting means C and a control valve opening detecting means D detecting an opening of the auxiliary air control valve. Output signals from these detecting means A-D are input to a cylinder suction air amount arithmetic means E, and an amount of air, sucked into a cylinder, is calculated being based on a detecting value of each detecting means A-D. And being based on the calculated cylinder suction air amount, the engine is constituted calculating a supply amount of fuel to the engine by a fuel supply amount arithmetic means F so as to control a fuel supplying means G.
