Abstract
PURPOSE:To aim at the prevention of knocking by varying a fuel supply through asynchronous injection at the time of acceleration according to a cylinder which turns to lean at the time of acceleration starting and the other, not turning to the lean, and separating an air-fuel ratio of each cylinder from a theoretical air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:Each detected value out of an air flow meter 3, turning angle sensors 7, 8, etc., is inputted into a control circuit 10 which controls a fuel quantity conformed to an engine driving state so as to do injection synchronously with a crank angle from fuel injection valves 9-1-9-6 installed at each cylinder. When it is judged to be accelerating time on the basis of a variation in throttle opening, the control circuit 10 opens these fuel injection valves 9-1-9-6 all at once as long as the time conformed to an asynchronous infection quantity set at each cylinder. At this time, as to a certain cylinder ranging from synchronous injection quantity calculation ending to intake stroke ending, valve opening time is set so as to become a lean air-fuel ratio short of the side leading to a misfire area, and as to the other cylinders, to become a rich air-fuel ratio short of the side leading to the misfire area, respectively.
