Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate variation in air/fuel ratio and to prevent mis-fire out and torque down by correcting the quantity of asynchronous injection corresponding to a cycle position at a point of the time when it is decided to conduct asynchronous injection for every cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Signals from a sensor 12 for detecting an opening of an intake throttle valve 14, a crank angle sensor 15, an air/fuel ratio sensor 17 are input to a control device to conduct asynchronous injection from an injection valve 10 at the time of acceleration. When it is decided to conduct asynchronous injection, a correction factor for the quantity of asynchronous injection is computed for every cylinder according to a cycle position signal at that time to inject fuel at every cylinder. Thus, the variation in air/fuel ratio of each cylinder can be decreased to prevent mis-fire and torque down.
