Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the deterioration of the characteristic and the peeling off of a film and obtain excellent superconducting characteristic by forming the composite oxide superconducting material containing CuxOy group on the surface of a substrate and applying specific heat treatment to a superconducting raw material. CONSTITUTION:A composite oxide superconducting material film containing CuxOy group is formed on the surface of a substrate, then heat treatment is applied to this superconducting raw material, the first heat treatment and the second heat treatment are performed for the heat treatment. In the first heat treatment, the raw material is heated at the temperature in the range of 700-950 deg.C in the vacuum atmosphere of the atmospheric pressure 10<-1>Torr or lower and gradually cooled after being kept at this temperature for the preset time. In the second heat treatment, it is heated at the temperature in the range of 400-600 deg.C in the oxygen-containing atmosphere and gradually cooled after being kept at this temperature for the preset time. The superconducting material not generating the deterioration of the superconducting characteristic and the peeling off of the film at the time of heat treatment is thereby obtained.
