Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain correct read of a signal by resetting a readout capacitor after the end of a series output in time serial for one block simultaneously for one block so as to avoid the change in an output signal due to the reset of readout capacitor. CONSTITUTION:The gate electrode of switching transistors CT1-CT3 is connected to a common terminal 109. With the switching transistors T1-T3 turned on, then a shift register 107 is shifted to turn on the switching TRs TR 10-12 and the optical information of the 1st block is read sequentially. Then a high level is applied to the terminal 109 and the switching TRs CT1-CT3 are turned on simultaneously, the residual electric charges of the capacitors C1-C3 and C10-C12 is discharged completely and the optical information storage state is attained again. The 2nd and 3rd blocks are processed similarly. Thus, an output waveform 201 is read correctly without being affected by the reset of the readout capacitor.
