Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the production of malfunction by overlap capacitance, by providing the series circuit with two sets of IGFETs controlled specifically at the prestage of each stage and forming the required level signal at all times at reset. CONSTITUTION:At the prestage of each stage of two phase shift register consisting of IGFETs Q1-Q4, a series circuit consisting of IGFET6 which is provided at the voltage terminal VDD at ON-level side and controlled with the reset input, and IGFETQ5 which is provided at the voltage terminal OV at OFF-level side and controlled with the set input, is connected. With this series circuit, FETQ1, Q3 are ON with the storage charge at the node N1' at reset and the node N1, output OUT1 are at OFF-level. Thus, the node N1 is not increased to ON-level with the overlap capacitor C between the drain and gate of FETQ4, the reset state is held, and the production of malfunction can be avoided.
