Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本発明は、車両のオープンルーフ構造に関し、更に詳細
には重体ルーフの取付け、取外しが可能なオープントッ
プ形式の車両のオープンルーフ構造に関する。
（従来の技術） この種の車両のオープンルーフ構造としては、例えば、
特開昭５３−５７６１７号に開示されているように、剛
性の屋根板を案内装置によって車体に支点結合すること
により、開状態にある屋根板をフロントシートのシート
バックの後ろに垂直に格納させるものが知られている。
（発明が解決しよとする問題点） 上記の従来のオープンルーフ構造は、簡単な操作で屋根
板を開位置と閉位置との間で移動させることができるが
、収納された屋根板がフロントシートのシートバックの
後ろに直立した状態で位置するので、前部座席のみを有
するタイプの車両にしか採用できないという問題がある
。
そこで本発明は、前、後部に座席を有するタイプの車両
にも採用することのできる車両のオープンルーフ構造を
提供することを目的とするものである。
（問題点を解決するための手段） 本発明は、車両のフロントウィンド上部のフロントヘッ
ダより後方に延び、客室を覆うルーフであって、該ルー
フはハード部材で形成され、客室前部を覆うルーフフロ
ント部と客室後部を覆うルーフリヤ部とに分割されてお
り、前記ルーフフロント部は、センタピラーと一体的に
、該センタピラーの車体への取付軸を中心に後方へ回動
して、リヤシート後部に収納可納に設けられており、前
記ルーフリヤ部は、車体に取付けたガイドレールに沿っ
て、リヤビラ−およびリヤウィンドと一体的に、客室後
方へ移動可能となっていることを特徴とするものである
。
（発明の作用、効果） 本発明の車両のオープンルーフ構造にふいては、上記し
たようにルーフフロント部が、センタピラーと一体的に
、該センタピラーの車体への取付軸を中心に後方へ回動
して、リヤシート後部に収納可納に設けられており、ま
たルーフリヤ部が、車体に取付けたガイドレールに沿っ
て、リヤビラーおよびリヤウィンドと一体的に、客室後
方へ移動可能としたので、前、後部に座席を有するタイ
プの車両にも採用することができるとともに、センタピ
ラーもルーフとともに収納されるようになっているので
、すっきりとしたオープントップ状態が得られる。
（実施例） 以下、添付図面を参照しつつ本発明の好ましい実施例に
よる自動車のオープンルーフ構造について説明する。
第１図は、本発明の一実施例による自動車のルーフ構造
の側面図であり、この図において符号１は自動車の車体
を示し、符号２は、フロントウインド３上部のフロント
ヘッダ４からリヤボディ５まで後方に延び、車室６を覆
うルーフである。このルーフ２は、鋼板等で構成された
ハード部材で形成されており、車室前部６ａを覆うルー
フフロント部７と、車室後Ｂ６ｂを覆うルーフリヤ部８
とに車体前後方向に２つに分割されている。ルーフリヤ
部８は、リヤウィンド９を備えている。
上記ルーフフロント部７には、全体としてほぼ逆Ｕ字形
状をした車体側取付部（センタピラーとしても作用する
が、以下取付部と略称する）１０が設けられており、こ
の取付部１００両脚部１１の下端部１１ａは、車体１の
ベルトライン１２より下方に延びている。上記両脚部１
１は、第３図に示されているように、上記下端部１１ａ
において、リヤフェンダＦ内方のインナパネル１３のサ
イドドア１４に枢着ピン１５によって枢着されている。
なお、この取付部１０は、ルーフ２を横断して延びる部
分を省略し、単に脚部１１すなわちピラー構成部のみで
構成してもよい。
ルーフフロント部７は、上記枢着ピン１５を中心として
回動し、第１図実線で示す閉位置と想像線で示す開位置
を取ることができるようになっている。
上記ルーフフロント部７は、第２図に示されている駆動
機構２０によって上記閉位置と開位置の間を作動させら
れるようになっている。この駆動機構２０は、駆動ギヤ
２１を備えており、この駆動ギヤ２１は、ダブルウオー
ム機構２２を介して電気モータ２３により回転駆動され
るようになっている。駆動ギヤ２１には、ルーフフロン
ト部７が第１図に示す閉位置にあるとき、該駆動ギヤ２
１から斜め前方上方に延びる駆動アーム２４がその下端
において固定されている。取付部１０の下端部１１ａに
固定され上方に延びる連結アーム１１ｂの枢着ピン１５
より上方の位置にも枢着ピンｌｌｃが設けられている。
この枢着ピンｌｌｃには、リンク２６がその上端におい
て接着されており、このリンク２６の下端は駆動アーム
２４の上端に枢着ピン２５で枢着されている。
第４図に示されているように、上記リンク２６、駆動ア
ーム２４等は、リヤフェンダＦとインナパネル１３の間
に配置されており、取付部１０はインナパネル１３の内
側に配置されており、また連結アームｌｌｂはインナパ
ネル１３を横切って延びている。なお、第２図および第
３図において、符号Ｇはウィンドガラスを示す。
一方、ルーフリヤ部８の下部の両側には、該ルーフリヤ
部８の閉位置と車室後部即ちトランクルーム３０内に収
められた開位置との間での移動を案内するため案内装置
３１が設けられている。該案内装置３１は、第４図およ
び第５図に示したように、リヤピラー３２のほぼ延長線
上に延びる第１および第２ガイドレール３３．３４、お
よびルーフリヤ部８の下端に取りつけられたブラケット
３５に回転可能に取りつけられ、上記第１および第２ガ
イドレール３３．３４に嵌合して、これに沿って転勤す
ることのできるガイドローラ３６．３７を備えている。
上記第１および第２ガイドレール３３．３４は、互いに
ほぼ平衡に閉位置にあるルーフリヤ部８の下部位置から
斜め下方に延びている。以上の構成において、ルーフリ
ヤ部８の下端に取りつけられたガイドローラ３６．３７
が、第１および第２ガイドレール３３．３４に沿って転
勤することにより、ルーフリヤ部８は、上記閉位置と開
位置との間で移動することができる。
上記ルーフリヤ部８の下方の車体には、更に上記ルーフ
リヤ部８をその閉位置と開位置との間で移動させるため
駆動装置４０が設けられている。
この駆動装置４０は、上記第１および第２ガイドレール
３３．３４の上、下端近傍にそれぞれ設けられた転向ド
ラム４１．４２およびこれらの転向ドラム４１．４２の
間に設けられた駆動ドラム４３を備えている。また、上
記第１および第２ガイドレール３３．３４が取りつけら
れたブラケット３５には、そのほぼ中間部分に駆動ワイ
ヤ４４の一端が固定されている。この駆動ワイヤ４４は
、この固定端部から上記第１および第２ガイドレール３
３．３４の間をこれらに沿って斜め下方に延び、転向ド
ラム４２に半回転捲かれて転向し、今度は斜め上方に延
び、駆動ドラム４３に一回転捲かれて、再び、上方に延
び、そして転向ドラム４１に半回転捲かれて下向きに転
向し、他端も上記ブラケット３５に固定されている。な
お、駆動ワイヤ４４には、テンションローラ４５により
張力を与えてお（ことが望ましい。
以上の構造において、駆動ドラム４３を図に右いて反時
計方向に回転させれば、駆動ワイヤ４４が、矢印Ｘ方向
に移動し、その結果ブラケット３５が下方に引かれて、
ルーフリヤ部８を、閉位置から開位置に移動させる。一
方、駆動ドラム４３を、時計方向に回転させれば、駆動
ワイヤ４４が、矢印Ｙ方向に移動し、その結果ブラケッ
ト３５が上方に引かれて、ルーフリヤ部８を、開位置か
ら閉位置に移動させる□。
このように駆動ワイヤ４４を駆動するため、上記駆動ド
ラム４３には、ウオームギヤ機構４６を介して駆動モー
タ４７が接続されている。このモータ４７は、可逆モー
タが使用される。
以上の構造により、ルーフは、自動的に閉位置と開位置
とのいずれかを取ることができるが、これらの操作は、
運転席に操作ボタンを設けて行えるようにすることが望
ましい。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 車両のフロントウインド上部のフロントヘッダより後方
    に延び、客室を覆うルーフであって、該ルーフはハード
    部材で形成され、客室前部を覆うルーフフロント部と客
    室後部を覆うルーフリヤ部とに分割されており、前記ル
    ーフフロント部は、センタピラーと一体的に、該センタ
    ピラーの車体への取付軸を中心に後方へ回動して、リヤ
    シート後部に収納可納に設けられており、前記ルーフリ
    ヤ部は、車体に取付けたガイドレールに沿って、リヤピ
    ラーおよびリヤウインドと一体的に、客室後方へ移動可
    能となっていることを特徴とする車両のオープンルーフ
    構造。
