Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、自動車用シートバックのフレームの改良に利
用される。
従来の技術 第４図及び第５図を参照する。自動車シートバック１Ｔ
は、シートバックフレーム１Ｂ、シートバックフレーム
１．８に保持されたスプリング、シートクッション及び
表皮１９を有し、必要に応じ、ランバーサポート２０が
組込まれる。勿論、ヘッドレスト取付部材２１がシート
バックフレームａＫ備えられる。
シートバックフレーム８は、パイプ２７を枠状に組み、
その側部にブラケット２２を溶接させている。このよう
なシートバック１Ｔは、ブラケット２２を、シートアジ
ャスタ２３のアッパアーム２４にボルト２５で締付け、
アッパアーム２４に固定される。さらに、パイプからな
るフレーム２７に、表皮１９を取付けるプレート２６及
びヘッドレストを取付げるための部材２１を固着させて
いる。
このように組立てられたシートバック１Ｔは、シートア
ジャスタ２３のアッパアーム２４にブラケット２２をボ
ルト２５で締付けることで、シートアジャスタ２３に固
定される。
本発明が解決しようとする問題点 第４図及び第５図に示す従来例では、シートパックフレ
ーム１Ｂにプレート２１，２６を取付ける必要があり、
組付作業が煩雑となる。このため、シートバック１Ｔの
軽量化、コスト低減には不向きである。さらに、シート
バック１７に作用する衝突時の如き大荷重は、ブラケッ
ト２２とパイプフレーム２７との結合部分並びにブラケ
ット２２及びアッパアーム２４との締付はボルト２５に
集中荷重が働く。このため、ブラケット２２と、アッパ
アーム２４の板厚を厚くし、又、ボルト２５の径を大と
する必要があり、シートバック１７の軽量化に逆行する
。
それ故、本発明は、シートバックフレーム１Ｂを改良す
ることで、前述した従来技術の不具合を解消させること
を解決すべき問題点とする。
問題点を解決するための手段 シートバックフレームをプレス加工すした板物の枠状で
組み、該フレームのサイドメンバーの側面に、シートア
ジャスタのブラケットを嵌込む凹所を設ける手段を採用
し、本発明は前述した問題点を解決する。
作用 シートクッションフレームのサイドメンバーの凹所に、
シートアジャスタのブラケットを嵌込むことは、衝突時
の大荷重が、サイドメンバーの凹所ブラケットとの係合
部及び締付はボルトを介して、アッパアームに伝達され
、次いで、シートアジャスタの本体に効果的に分散させ
ることができる。従って、従来経験された如き集中荷重
の発生がなく、フレーム、アッパアームを薄肉、軽量化
させることができる。さらに、プレス加工された板物な
枠状に組んだシートバックフレームに、直接、スプリン
グ及び表皮取付部を設げ得るので、従来の如き幾つかの
部品をパイプフレームに固定させる作業を省くことがで
きる。
実施例 第１−３図を参照して、本発明の詳細な説明する。自動
車用のシートバック１は、そのシートバックフレーム２
を、シートアジャスタ３のアッパアーム４にボルト５で
締付げることで、シートアジャスタ３に固定される。
シートバックフレーム２は、クロスメンバー６．７及び
サイドメンバー８を枠形に固定させることで形佼される
。各メンバー６、Ｔ、８は、断面路コの字状にプレス加
工された板物からなる。そして、それらの側縁及び面は
、スプリング９及び表皮１０の取付部に利用される。上
クロスメンバー６には、ヘッドレストの取付部材１１が
組込まれる。シートバック１のサイドメンバー８の側面
には、内方にくぼんだ凹所１２が形成される。凹所１２
の巾は、はｙ、アッパアーム４の巾に等しく、アッパア
ーム４０凹所１２への嵌込みを可能とさせる。凹所１２
の深さは、アッパアーム４の板厚以上とする。凹所４の
前部には、表皮取付部材１３が設けられる。
該部材１３は、サイドメンバー８の切り起しでよい。ク
ッション１４上に張られた表皮１０のマチ部は、クリッ
プ１５を用いて、取付部材１３に固定される。
シートバックフレーム２にクッション１４及び表皮１０
を取付けた後、サイドメンバー８の　１凹所１２に、ア
ッパアーム４を嵌込み、ボルト５にて両者を固定する。
次いで、表皮１０のマチの一部をサイドメンバー８の後
面にはわせ。
その縁をサイドメンバー８に止着させる。１６はカバー
である。
効果 シートアジャスタのアッパアームのシートバックフレー
ムの凹所への嵌込みは、シートアジャスタに対するシー
トバックの位置決めが容易で、ボルトの締付は作業が容
易である。さらに、枠状の板物のシートバックは、スプ
リング、ヘッドレストの取付部となるので、部品点数を
軽減し、軽量化を可能とさせる。重要なことは、凹所と
アッパアームとの保合部が衝突時の大荷重をアッパアー
ムを介してシートアジャスタと床に分散させ得るので、
集中荷重の発生がなく、部材の薄肉化が可能である。さ
らに、断面コの字形のメンバーは、その剛性が高く、又
、凹所はクロスメンバーーの強度を高める。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. プレス加工された板物を枠状に組んだシートバックフレ
    ームを有し、該シートバックフレームサイドメンバーが
    その側面に内方にくぼんだ凹部を有し、シートアジャス
    タのアッパアームが前記凹所に嵌込まれることを特徴と
    する自動車用シートのシートバック。
