Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は3個以上の樹脂部材を互に当接して、
該当接部を同時に高周波等にて加熱し、熱溶着す
る熱溶着用部材に関する。
従来、たとえば合成樹脂製の二つのケースの端
縁を一体に溶着固定する場合に、第1図で説明す
るような方法がおこなわれている。すなわち、図
は溶着部分の断面を示すもので、一方のケースa
の端縁に沿つて溝bを設け、また他方のケースc
の端縁に凸部dを設け、この凸部dを前記ケース
aの溝bに嵌入するとともに、金属線eをその間
に介在せしめ、外部より、たとえば高周波によつ
て金属線eを加熱し、発生した熱によつて前記嵌
合部を溶着固定する方法である。
本考案は以上の方法を用い、少くとも3個また
はそれ以上の部分、端縁を会合するように集め、
該部を同時にかつ確実に溶着固定する熱溶着用部
材を提供しようとするものである。
本考案の特徴は、介在した線材を発熱せしめて
互に溶着するようにした熱溶着用部材において、
溶着すべき一の部材の端縁に溝部を形成するとと
もに、前記溝部を狭める方向にそれぞれ突出しか
つ前記線材の径にほぼ等しい間隔を有する一対の
張出部から成る挾持部を前記溝部に形成する一
方、溶着すべき他の複数の部材に突縁部をそれぞ
れ形成し、複数の前記突縁部を互に接合した状態
で前記溝部内に嵌合することにより複数の部材の
会合部を設け、前記線材を前記挾持部によつて保
持した状態で前記会合部に配設したことにある。
以下、本考案の実施例について図面を参照しな
がら詳細に説明する。
第2図〜第3図は自動二輪車に用いられるエア
クリーナケースの殻体を示し、第3図は第2図の
Z−Z線断面を示す。図において1はアツパーケ
ース、2はロアケース、3はミドルケースで、該
ミドルケース3にフイルタを取付けるようになつ
ている。これらの各ケースは第3図のA部分(該
部を拡大した第4図参照)に示すように各ケース
の端縁を夫々全周にわたつて組み合せ、共に会す
る会合部を設け、この部分を相互に熱溶着して各
ケースを一体に固定するようにしたものである。
すなわち、ロアケース2は、第5図に示すよう
にその端縁部21を外方に突出するように平坦に
形成し、該端縁部21上に突縁部22を突設し
て、平坦部23と24を形成してある。
またミドルケース3は、第6図に示すようにそ
の端縁部31をU字状として溝32を形成し、そ
の底面部33の一部を、ロアケース2の平坦部2
4に当接するとともに、その突縁部34の外側面
を、ロアケース2の突縁部22の内側面に当接し
てある。
また、アツパーケース1は、第7図に示すよう
にその端縁部11を逆U字状に形成して外側に突
縁部12を、内側に突縁部13を夫々設け、その
間に形成された溝部14の間に前記ロアケース2
の突縁部22と、前記ミドルケース3の突縁部3
4を嵌入し、突縁部12の先端はロアケース2の
平坦部23に対面させ、また突縁部13の先端は
ミドルケース3の溝32に嵌入するように構成し
てある。なお、第4図は溶着前であつて各部に隙
間が存在している状態を示す。
4は外部からのエネルギー付加、たとえば高周
波加熱によつて発熱する一本の線材(たとえば
1.6φの金属線)で、該線材4はアツパーケース
1の溝部14にあつてロアケース2の突縁部22
の先端と、ミドルケース3の突縁部34の先端と
の境界部に配置し、これを各ケースの端縁全周に
わたつて延設してある。
次に以上のように配置された線材4は、その径
に対してアツパーケース1の溝部14の幅が広い
ため移動し易い状態におかれている。したがつて
この線材4を前記位置に確実に保持するため、第
8図に示すようにアツパーケース1の端縁に周設
された溝部14に、間隔を置いて複数個の挾持部
18を設ける。すなわち、この挾持部18は、ア
ツパーケース1の端縁部11の溝部14の一部
に、両側の突縁部12・13の内壁より張出部1
6,17を設け、その間に線材4の径にほゞ等し
い間隙を形成し、こゝに線材4を保持するように
したもので、このような挾持部18を適当間隔を
置いて適当数設けてある。第9図は、この挾持部
18の部分における各ケース端縁の組込み態様を
示す断面で、前記第4図に対応する図である。
本考案は以上のような状態に各ケースと一本の
線材とをセツトしたあと、ケース上下より圧力を
かけながら線材4に対する高周波加熱をおこな
い、線材4から発生する熱によつて、その付近の
各ケースの会合部を溶着する。これによつて3個
のケースの各端縁全周は同時に一体に固定され
る。
以上のように本考案に係る熱溶着用部材、すな
わち前記実施例のエアクリーナケースにおいて
は、3個の分離されているケースのそれぞれの端
縁を互に会合するように組込み、この組込んだ各
ケースの端縁の会合部に、たとえば高周波加熱用
の線材を配置し、ケースの各端縁が組込まれた部
分に線材を挾持する挾持部を設けて線材を所定位
置に確実に維持できるようにしてある。したがつ
て加熱用線材が移動することなく3個に分離され
ているケースを一回の加熱処理によつて、しかも
特別な部材を用いることなく少量の線材を用いる
だけで、確実に一体に熱溶着することができる。
なお、本考案は3部分以上、または3個以上の
ケース等の熱溶着用部材にも適用可能であり、ま
た、これらの各端縁等の組込み構造は、前記実施
例のみに限定されるものではない。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 介在した線材を発熱せしめて互に溶着するよう
    にした熱溶着用部材において、溶着すべき一の部
    材の端縁に溝部を形成するとともに、前記溝部を
    狭める方向にそれぞれ突出しかつ前記線材の径に
    ほぼ等しい間隔を有する一対の張出部から成る挾
    持部を前記溝部に形成する一方、溶着すべき他の
    複数の部材に突縁部をそれぞれ形成し、複数の前
    記突縁部を互に接合した状態で前記溝部内に嵌合
    することにより複数の部材の会合部を設け、前記
    線材を前記挾持部によつて保持した状態で前記会
    合部に配設したことを特徴とする熱溶着用部材。
