Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔発明の利用分野〕 本発明は、高粘度液と添加液とを接触させ、両液体間で
の混合1反応、物質移動、熱移動等の操作を効率よく行
なわせる高粘度物質の製造方法に関するものである。
〔発明の背景〕
従来より高粘度物質を処理する装置としては、反応液の
表面積をできるだけ大きくすると同時に、有効に表面更
新が行なわれるような手段が講′じちれている。一般的
には第4図、第5図に示すような気相部を有する粘性物
質の反応装!!12(特公昭50−21514号公報参
照)が用いられている。
そのため、添加液と高粘度液との混合比率が高鳴なった
場合、特に添加液が低粘度液体の場合には、添加液が高
粘度液の攪拌表面もしくは本体13と高粘度液との隙間
を通フて、高粘度液と混合攪拌されることなく反応装[
12より出て行く。そのため、反応装WtZ内に添加液
のシ!−トパスを防止する仕切板6を設ける等の処置が
必要である。
また、高粘度液と混合均相とされる添加液の飽和温度が
高粘度液の溶融、加熱温度あるいは反応温度と同一温度
もしくはその付近にある場合には、反応液の表面更新が
大きく、かつ、表面更新が有効に行なわれるため、添加
液の一部が蒸発し、気相部にて気液平衡状態となる。そ
のため、高粘度液の出口付近にて凝縮した添加液は、高
粘度液に混入し、均相となることなく装置より取出され
るという問題がある。
〔発明の目的〕
本発明の目的は、飽和温度が高粘度液の溶融加熱温度あ
るいは反応温度と同一もしくはその付近にある添加液を
、高粘度液と混合均相させる高粘度物質の製造方法を提
供することにある。
〔発明の概要〕
本発明は、楕円筒状の本体内に平行に配置された2本の
回転軸に、本体内壁と僅少な間隙を設けた攪拌翼を、複
数個対向し、かつ、相互に90度位相をずらして取付け
た反応装置の一端より高粘度液と添加液を供給し、満液
状態で混合9反応させた後、反応装置の他端より取出す
ことにより、飽和温度が高粘度液の溶融加熱温度あるい
は反応温度と同一もしくはその付近にある添加液を、高
粘度液と混合均相させるようにしたものである。
〔発明の実施例〕
以下、本発明の一実施例を第1図および第3図により説
明する。第1図、第3図において、1は楕円筒状の本体
3とジャケット4よりなる縦形の反応装置、5は本体3
内曇こ平行に配置された回転軸5a、5bに相互に90
度位相をずらし、かつ、本体3内壁と僅少な間隙を設け
、複数個対向して取付けられた攪拌′翼、6は回転軸5
a、5bの攪拌翼5間に取付けられた連通孔を有する仕
切板、7はポリマーチブプのホブパー、8はロータリー
バルブ、9は押出機、10,11はギヤーポンプである
。ホq /f−71L供給されたポリマーチブプは、ロ
ータリーバルブ8を経て連続的に押出機9に供給され、
押出機9内で加熱溶融されて高粘度の液として押出され
、ギヤーポンプ10により反応装置1の本体3内に上端
部より定量供給される。一方、高粘度液と混合均相され
る低粘度の添加液も定量シ ポンプ(図示せず)等により、反応装置lの本体3内に
上端部より定量供給される。
しかして、本体3内に供給された添加液は、攪拌翼5に
より高粘度液中に巻込まれ、高粘度液の剪断変形と共に
著しく微細化されて均一に分散し、極めて広い接触面積
を呈すると同時に、添加液中にその自由表面が露呈され
る。その結果、高粘度液中に分散された添加液が再び添
加液中に破壊放出され、続いて添加液の高粘度液中への
巻込み、分散が繰返されることにより、極めて効率よ々
高粘度液と添加液の混合、攪拌を行ムわせることができ
、混合均相の高粘度物質として処理された処理液は1本
体3の下端よりギヤーポンプHによって取出され、次の
工程に送られろ。
上述の実施例では、反応装置llを縦形としたことによ
り、添加液の飽和温度が高粘度液の溶融。
加熱温度あるいは反応温度と同一もしくはその付近にあ
っても、気液平衡域の気相部は本体3上端部の相互の液
入口にあるため、気液平衡を保ちながら混合、攪拌され
、添加液がショートパスすることなく、高粘度物質とし
て処理される。また、添加液が低粘度液で、かつ、高粘
度液との混合比率が高い場合には、仕切板6を設けるこ
とによりショートパスの防止を図ることができる。
yg2図は反応装置2を横形とした他の実施例を示した
もので、本体3内を高粘度液にて満液状態に保ち、かつ
、本体3内を加圧操作することにより、添加液の飽和温
度が高められ、高粘度液の溶融、加熱温度あるいは反応
温度より高い飽和温度となり、本体3内で蒸発すること
なく高粘度液と均一に混合、攪拌され、均相の高粘度物
質として処理される。
また、第2図に示した横形の反応装置2を傾斜させて配
置し、相互の処理液の入口を上部に設けて、気相部が各
処理液の入口部に形成されるようにすることにより、第
1図に示した縦形の反応袋Rtと同一の作用を行なわせ
ることができ、高粘度物質の処理を行なわせることがで
きる。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明は以上述べたように、高粘度液と混合1均相とさ
せる添加液が、(1)添加液の飽和温度が高粘度液の溶
融加熱温度あるいは反応温度と同一もしくはその付近に
ある場合、(2)添加液と高粘度液との混合比率が比較
的高い場合、(3)添加液の粘度が低い場合等において
も、添加液の蒸発およびンヨートパスを防止して高粘度
液と混合、攪拌させることができ、混合均相の高粘度物
質を連続的に製造することができる。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1、飽和温度が高粘度液の溶融加熱温度あるいは反応温
    度と同一もしくはその付近にある添加液を、高粘度液と
    混合均相させる高粘度物質の製造方法において、楕円筒
    状の本体内に平行に配置された2本の回転軸に、本体内
    壁と僅少な間隙を設けた攪拌翼を、複数個対向し、かつ
    、相互に90度位相をずらして取付けた反応装置の一端
    より高粘度液と添加液を供給し、満液状態で混合、反応
    させた後、反応装置の他端より取出すことを特徴とする
    高粘度物質の製造方法。 2、縦形の反応装置の上端より高粘度液と添加液を供給
    し、下端より処理液を取出す特許請求の範囲第1項記載
    の高粘度物質の製造方法。
