Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、金属のプレス加工、圧延、伸線、鍛造、鋼管
の引抜き等の冷間加工における金属の潤滑処理方法に圏
するものである。
従来、金属を冷間加工する場合、金属及び金型工具の摩
擦や摩耗の低減を図るため潤滑処理を施しておシ、その
潤滑処理は、比較的低加工度のものに対しては、極圧剤
や油性向上剤を添加した潤滑油で潤滑処理が施され、高
加工度のものG゛こ対しては、普通鋼ではリン酸塩処理
→石けん処理、ステンレス鋼では、蓚酸塩処理→石けん
処理の如き化成処理による潤滑処理が施されてきた。近
年省エネルギー、公害、生産性の向上等に対処するため
工程の簡略化が要望されているが、化成処理による潤滑
処理方法は処理液の加温、処理液及び水洗水の廃水処理
等が必要であp1又処理時間もかかるし冷間加工後の潤
滑皮膜の除去作業も容易ではない。
本発明の目的は、上記問題点を解決すべくなされたもの
である。
本発明の目的を達成させる金属の潤滑処理方法をよ、金
属表面に熱可塑型水溶性樹脂及びメラミン−シアヌル酸
付加物を含有する水溶液を塗布し乾燥させて皮膜を形成
させた後、金属石けん潤滑剤又は潤滑油t−塗布すると
とt−%微とするものである。
本発明における熱可塑型水溶性樹脂としては、ポリアク
リル酸、アクリル酸と他のビニル化合物の共重合体、ポ
リアクリルアミド、ポリビニルピロリドン、マレイン酸
と他のビニル化合物の共重合体、ポリ酢酸ビニルのけん
化物などが好ましい。
アクリル酸又はマレイン酸と共重合する他”のビニル化
合物は、例えは酢酸ビニル、スチレン、メチルビニルエ
ーテル、アクリルアミド、ビニルピロリドνなどが挙げ
られる。冷間加工後の潤滑皮膜の除去性はアクリル酸系
樹脂が優れている。
熱可塑型水溶性樹脂とメラミン−シアヌル酸付加物の含
有比は1:01〜1:2が好ましく、l二0.3以上で
は潤滑性が低下し、1:2以下では樹脂のバインダー作
用が弱くなるため膜の密着性が低下し、冷9間加工時に
剥離して焼付きを生じ易い。又メラミン−シアヌル酸付
加物の水分散には界面活性剤を使用しない。界面活性剤
は金属と熱可塑型水溶性樹脂の密着性を低下させたル、
可塑剤的赳働きをして樹脂皮膜が必要以上に軟化して良
い結果をもたらさないからである。
前記乾燥皮膜の重量は0.3〜30 f / +y/が
好ましく 、0.3 f/d以下では潤滑性が低下して
金属と金型工具が焼付きを起こし、30y/−以上では
金型工具によルしどき取られ、これが金型工具を目詰ま
シさせるためかえって作54注に悪影響を及ぼす。更に
好しいのは、プレス用潤滑剤としては0.5〜2 f 
/ n/でbカ、線材、バイブなどの冷間〃ロ工用潤滑
剤としては5〜15v/−である。
メラミン−(イソ)シアヌル鈑付〃a物は、メラミン水
溶液と(イソ)シアヌル峡水溶液を混合し沈澱析出させ
ることによル製造することが出来、又メラミン又は(イ
ソ)シアヌル酸の一方又は両方を水中に固相状態で分散
させた状態で両者を反応させることによっても得ること
が出来る。粒径は0.5〜5μが得られる。
本発明における金属石けん潤滑剤は、例えばステアリン
酸カルシウム、ステアリン敵バリウム、ステアリン酸亜
鉛、ステアリン酸ナトリウム、ステアリン敵リチウムな
どをベースにしたものである。これに石灰、炭酸カルシ
ウム、タルク、グラファイト、二硫化モリブデンなどを
添加する場合がある。又、本発明における潤滑油は、通
常市販されている油脂又は鉱油をベースにしたものであ
る。本発明において熱可塑型水溶性樹脂及びメラミン−
(イソ)シアヌル酸付加物を含有する水溶液に金属石け
ん潤滑剤又は潤滑油を配合させても本発明の目的を達成
させる性能を得ることができない。これ鉱金属と熱可塑
型水溶性樹脂の密着性が低下し、加工時に剥離して焼付
きを起こすからである。
本発明を実施する過程において、冷間〃ロエの初期段階
では熱可塑型水溶性樹脂皮膜はしごきに対しても剥離せ
ず、加工部分への持込みが良く金属と工具との接触が防
止できる。又、変形加工段階では金属の変形熱及び摩擦
熱により金属表面が100〜150℃になって皮膜の伸
びが良くなシ、金属変形に対し良く追随し膜切れしない
4゜メラミン−シアヌル酸付加物は300℃まで分解せ
ず潤滑性が良好であるため、冷間加工の滑剤となる。な
お水溶性樹脂及びメラミン−シアヌル酸付加物の皮膜は
2層に分離し金属面に熱可塑型水溶性樹脂の成分を多(
した方が膜の密着性及び潤滑性が向上する。これは金属
表面に熱可塑−型樹脂及びメラミン−(イソ)シアヌル
酸付加物を含有する水溶液を塗布後、急速乾燥せずに3
0分以上室内放置した後強制乾燥することにより得るこ
とができる。
本発明は、金属に熱可塑型水溶性樹脂及びメラミン−(
イソ)シアヌル酸付加物を含有する水溶−液を浸漬、ス
プレー、へヶ1にシ、流しかけ、ロールコータ等の方法
にょシ盪布し、次いで金属石けん潤滑剤又は潤滑油を塗
布することにょシ夾施される。
本発明を実施することにより、化成処理による潤滑処理
に比べ金属の冷間加工における省エネルギー化、工程の
簡略化、公害対策が可能となり、良好な潤滑皮膜を得る
ことが出来た。
以下本発明について実線例を挙げて説明する。
笑飽例1〜5 SUS304のステンレス鋼l1It−酸洗、水洗し、
第1表の水浴性樹脂及びメラミン−シアヌル酸付加物を
含有する処理液で浸漬処理(30℃、1分)し、1時間
液切りと自然乾燥した後120℃の熱風で30分乾燥し
て固体皮膜を形成させた。次いでステアリン酸カルシウ
ム粉末をダイスボックスで塗布した後伸線機で引抜きを
行い、引抜力を測定し、更べ引抜き一後の外観観察及び
潤滑膜の除去性について調査した。その結果を第2衣に
示す。

釈し浸漬処理(室温1分)シ、1日間自然乾燥した後実
施例1〜5と同様の伸線条件により引抜きを行った。樹
脂伺着量109/l♂とした。その結果を第2表に示す
比較例3 メラミノーシアヌル酸付加物を除いた以外は実施例2で
用いた方法と同様の条件で処理し伸線試験を行った。樹
脂皮膜厚さI Ot /n?とした。
比較例4 ステアリン酸カルシウムを塗付しない以外は実施例1で
用いた方法と同様の条件で処理し、伸線試験を行った。

伸線後の潤滑膜の除・去試験 、伸線後のステンレス鋼線をアルカリ脱脂液(ファイン

製品))301/l、80℃に1時間浸漬処理した後潤
滑膜の除去性を目視判足した。
実施例6〜10 5US304のステンレス鋼管を酸洗、水洗し、第1表
の水溶性樹脂及びメラミン−シアヌル酸付加物を含有す
る処理液で浸漬処理(30℃、1分)し、1時間液切シ
と自然乾燥した後120Cの熱風で30分乾燥して固体
皮膜を形成させた。次いで潤滑油〔なたね油〕會塗、1
5 した後抽伸機で引抜きを行い、引抜力、芯金力を測
定し、東に引抜き後の外観観察及び潤滑膜の除去性VC
ついで調査した。その結果を第3表に示す。

比較例8゜ 狗滑油t−m付しない以外は実施例6で用いた方法と同
様9条件で処理し、抽伸試験を行った。

の除去性を目視判定した。
実施例11〜15 SUS304のステンレス鋼板に実施例6〜10と同じ
処理液を使用し固体皮膜厚さが乾燥後3μになるように
バーコーターで片面に塗布し、100〜120C1分の
熱風乾燥した。次いで潤滑油(マシン油)t−片面に3
μ塗布後深絞シ試験機で深絞りを行った。深絞ル後の外
観及び潤滑膜の除去性についての結果t−g4表に示す
深絞p条件 供試材寸法 90φX O,8fi 深深絞式試験平底円筒絞p しわおさえ力 2,000〜 比較例9 実114例11〜15と同様のステンレス鋼板にミルボ

と同様の方法で3μになる様に塗布した。
次いで潤滑油(ミルポンドオイル〔日本油脂株式会社製
品)を片面に3μ塗布後実施例11〜15と同じ試験機
で深絞り及び潤滑膜除去試験を行った。その結果t−@
4表に示す。
比較例10 実施例11〜15と同様のステンレス鋼板にプ# レス油(プレス工作油640〔日本工作油社製品〕ンを

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1) 金属表面に熱可塑型水溶性樹脂及びメラミン−
    シアヌル酸付加物を含有する水溶液を塗布し乾燥させて
    皮膜を形成させた後、金属石けん潤滑剤又は潤滑油を塗
    布することを特徴とする金属の潤滑処理方法。
