【発明の詳现な説明】
〔産業䞊の利甚分野〕 本発明は、金属のプレス加工、圧延、䌞線、鋌
管の匕抜き等の冷間加工に斌ける金属の冷間加工
甚最滑剀に関するものである。 〔埓来技術〕 埓来、金属を冷間加工する堎合、金属及び金型
工具の摩擊や摩耗の䜎枛を図るため、金属に最滑
剀を斜しおおり、その最滑剀ずしお、比范的䜎加
工床のものに察しおは、極圧剀や油性向䞊剀を添
加した最滑油が斜され、高加工床の堎合、有機溶
剀で垌釈しお甚いる暹脂系最滑剀が塗垃され、曎
にその䞊に最滑油が塗垃されおいる。 〔発明が解決しようずする問題点〕 近幎最滑剀の甚途が倚様化しおおり、冷間加工
の条件がきびしい堎合には、これらの最滑剀では
満足できない堎合があるこずが問題ずしお生じお
きた。又有機溶剀で垌釈しお甚いる暹脂系最滑剀
は環境衛生䞊よくなく、又、火灜などの危険性も
ある。又冷間加工埌にその残留皮膜をアルカリク
リヌナヌで容易に陀去するこずができないので加
工珟堎に適さないなどの問題も生じおきた。 そこで匷床の冷間加工に察しお優れた最滑性胜
を瀺すず共に冷間加工埌に金属衚面に残留する皮
膜をアルカリクリヌナヌで容易に陀去できるよう
な金属の最滑剀が必芁ずな぀おきた。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 前蚘芁望に応じた最滑剀を開発すべく鋭意研究
した結果、ガラス転移点が−10〜25℃に調敎され
た熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂10〜35重量郚ずワツク
ス〜15重量郚ず界面掻性剀0.5〜重量郚ず残
りは氎を含有し、䞔぀前蚘熱硬化型アクリル系暹
脂ワツクス重量比が〜12に調敎された氎性液
で凊理し、垞枩也燥埌、加熱、焌付けするず、埓
来の最滑剀を甚いるよりも優れた最滑皮膜を埗る
こずが出来た。 本発明におけるガラス転移点−10〜25℃の熱硬
化型アクリル系暹脂は、䞀般匏 −―Ra−Rb−Rc−Rd―o 匏䞭のRaRbRcRdの順䜍はランダム
であり、Raはビニルトル゚ン基、スチレン基、
メチルメタアクリル基又はアクリルニトリル基の
䞭から遞ばれた皮又は皮以䞊を20〜70重量
からなり、Rbはアクリル酞ず炭玠数〜12を有
する玚脂肪族アルコヌルずの反応により埗られ
たアクリル酞゚ステル及び又はメタクリル酞ず
炭玠数〜12を有する玚脂肪族アルコヌルずの
反応により埗られたメタクリル酞゚ステルを20〜
70重量からなり、Rcはアクリル酞、メタクリ
ル酞、マレむン酞、むタコン酞、−ヒドロキシ
゚チルメタクリレヌトのリン酞゚ステル化合物、
−ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレヌトのリン酞
゚ステル化合物、又はそれらのアルカリ䞭和物の
䞭から遞ばれた皮又は皮以䞊を〜15重量
からなり、Rdはメタクリル酞−ヒドロキシル
゚チル、メタクリル酞ヒドロキシプロピル、アク
リル酞−ヒドロキシル゚チル、アクリル酞ヒド
ロキシプロピル、−メチロヌルアクリルアミド
又はその゚ステル化合物、ゞアセトンアクリルア
ミド又はグリシゞルメタクリレヌトの䞭から遞ば
れた皮又は皮以䞊を〜20重量からな぀お
いる。を有する熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂を甚い
るこずが出来る。は重合床1000〜50000である
が、ガラス転移点−10〜25℃になるように重合さ
せる。䟋えば、各モノマヌの混合物を50〜60℃で
〜時間乳化重合させるこずにより所望のガラ
ス転移点を埗るこずが出来る。他の重合方法ずし
おは、䟋えば、溶液重合、懞濁重合などがある。
重合方法により氎以倖の溶媒を䜿甚する堎合があ
り、䟋えば、゚タノヌル、む゜プロピルアルコヌ
ル等を䜿甚する堎合がある。 本発明に甚いられるワツクスは、石油パラフむ
ンワツクス、動怍物油脂、高玚脂肪酞、高玚アル
コヌル、高玚脂肪酞ず高玚アルコヌル゚ステル、
高玚脂肪酞アマむド、高玚脂肪酞のアミン塩など
が挙げられ、最滑剀皮膜を固化させおおくために
融点が45℃以䞊のものを甚いるのが奜たしい。融
点を䞊げるには、氎玠添加により重結合をなく
す方法がある。 界面掻性剀は、ワツクスを氎に乳化分散させる
ために甚いられるが、その界面掻性剀ずしおは、
アニオン系界面掻性剀、ノニオン系界面掻性剀が
挙げられる。アニオン系界面掻性剀は、アルキル
ナフタレンスルフオン酞ナトリりム、アルキルベ
ンれンスルフオン酞ナトリりム、ロヌト油などが
挙げられ、ノニオン系界面掻性剀ずしおは、ポリ
オキシ゚チレンアルキル゚ヌテルアルキル基は
高玚アルコヌル系、ポリオキシ゚チレンノニル
プノヌル゚ヌテル系、脂肪酞のポリ゚チレング
リコヌル゚ステル、脂肪酞の゜ルビタン゚ステ
ル、及び゚チレンオキサむド付加物、などが挙げ
られる。界面掻性剀によりある皋床の乳化分散が
出来るがさらに乳化性の向䞊を図るため、ホモゞ
ナむザヌなどの機械攪拌ず䜵甚しおもよい。 本発明の最滑剀に、固䜓最滑剀を配合しおもよ
い。固䜓最滑剀は、䟋えば、グラフアむト、硫
化モリブデン、タルク、テフロン、窒化ホり玠、
炭酞カルシりム、メラミン・む゜シアヌル酞付加
物などが挙げられる。 䜜 甚 熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂を甚いた理由は、金属
の冷間加工により、金属や工具が発熱する。この
発熱は、匷加工床や連続的な加工により曎に蓄熱
しおくる。ここで最滑剀の成分に熱可塑型アクリ
ル系暹脂を䜿甚した堎合垞枩では固䜓皮膜である
が、加工により金属や工具が䞊昇するず、ガラス
転移点以䞊ずな぀た堎合、流動性が出おくる。 この状態では、金属ず工具ずの盎接接觊の防止
する胜力が䜎くなり、加工条件が厳しくな぀た堎
合しごき取られお焌付きが発生する。 埓぀お、高枩時における固䜓皮膜ずするこず
が、重芁であり、このため熱硬化型アクリル系暹
脂を利甚するこずにより解決した。 しかし通垞の熱硬化型暹脂の欠点ずしおは暹脂
が硬化した堎合暹脂皮膜が硬くなるが塑性倉圢に
より、金属の延びに察しお、暹脂皮膜が远ずいし
ずらくなるため皮膜切れが起぀お金属ず工具の盎
接接觊しお、焌付きが発生しやすくなる。又、冷
間加工埌に最滑皮膜を陀去するこずが必芁である
が、熱硬化した皮膜は、アルカリによる陀去は、
難しい。この改善ずしお、暹脂の架橋は可撓性の
よい構造の自己架橋タむプがよく、又、その架橋
割合いも少なくする。しかし暹脂自䜓の特性倀ず
しおは、軟い方がよく䌞びるため、金属の䌞びに
皮膜が远ずいしやすくなる。埓぀お、ガラス転移
点が−10〜25℃ず䜎い方が軟くお䌞びがよい。−
10℃未満では、皮膜が軟らかくなりすぎお冷間加
工時に焌付きが発生しやすくなる。25℃以䞊で
は、皮膜が硬くなりすぎ金属加工時の金属の䌞び
に察する皮膜の远ずい性が䜎䞋したり又冬期の寒
い時期には、造膜性が悪くなる傟向があり均䞀な
皮膜の生成が難しい。奜たしいのは〜℃であ
る。 前蚘熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂の䞀般匏䞭のRa
は、皮膜の硬床及び匕匵り匷床を持たせるもので
20〜70重量含有させるのが奜たしい。Rbは、
皮膜に軟かさず延䌞性を持たせるものを20〜70重

密着性、乳化分散性を向䞊させるもので、〜15
重量含有させるのが奜たしい。Rdは、金属ず
の密着性を向䞊させ、又加熱するずRcのカルボ
キシル基ず架橋し硬化しお、耐熱性を向䞊させる
のに必芁であり〜20重量含有させるのが奜た
しい。 Ra 20未満では、暹脂皮膜の硬床がやわらかく
お塑性加工時に皮膜がしごき取られお焌付きが
発生しおよくない。70を越えるずガラス転䜍
点TGが高くなりすぎお宀枩における皮膜
の造膜性が悪くなり塑性加工時に焌付きが発生
しおよくない。 Rb 20未満では、TGが高くなりすぎお、宀枩
における皮膜の造膜性が悪くなり塑性加工時に
焌付きが発生しおよくない。70を越えるず皮
膜の硬床が軟らかくお塑性加工時に皮膜がしご
き取られお焌付きが発生する。 すなわち、RaずRbは盞反する特性を持぀お
おり、RaずRbをうたく組合せるこずにより焌
付きの発生が防止できる。 Rc 未満では、 金属に察する密着性が䜎䞋する。 皮膜をアルカリ脱脂液で陀去する堎合に陀
去できない。 Rdのヒドロキシアルキルメタクリレヌト、
−メチロヌルアクリルアミド又はグリシゞ
ルメタクリレヌトずの架橋反応が促進されず
耐熱性が䜎䞋する。 15を越えるず、 凊理液の粘床が高くなりすぎお䜜業性や塗
垃性がうたく行かない。 生成した皮膜は、吞湿性が高くなり、造膜
埌長期間攟眮した堎合吞湿により皮膜の密着
性が䜎䞋する。 Rd 未満では、 架橋が䞍充分で耐熱性がよくない。 20を越えるず、 架橋が進みすぎた皮膜ずなるため、可撓性
がなくなり、塑性加工時に皮膜が金属の延び
に远ずいしなくなり焌付きが発生しおよくな
い。ヒドロキシアルキルメタクリレヌトは、
〜15が奜たしく、−メチロヌルアクリ
ルアミド又はグリシゞルメタクリレヌトは
〜が奜たしい。 熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂ずワツクスずの混合比
は重芁な因子であり、前蚘熱硬化型アクリル系暹
脂にワツクスを適量混合させるこずによ぀お金属
衚面䞊の暹脂皮膜の陀去性及び最滑性を向䞊させ
る。熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂ワツクス重量比が
未満になるず、金属に圢成される皮膜の密着性
が䜎䞋しお金属を塑性倉圢加工しおいる時に膜切
れを起しお焌付く。又12を超えるず滑り性が䜎䞋
しお金属間の摩擊が倧きくなり焌付く。奜たしく
は、〜の範囲である。最滑剀凊理液䞭の界面
掻性剀の適正添加濃床は、䜙り倚量に添加するず
最滑性を䜎䞋させるので、乳化分散させるのに必
芁な添加濃床及び最滑性を考慮するず、0.5〜
重量郚が良い。界面掻性剀ずしおは、ノニオン
系、アニオン系、カチオン系、䞡性むオン系が挙
げられる。奜たしいのはノニオン系、アニオン系
である。 本発明の最滑剀凊理液を金属に適甚するには、
予め脱脂した金属を浞挬法、スプレヌ法、ハケ塗
り法、流しかけ法、ロヌルコヌタヌ法等の方法に
より垞枩にお凊理し、也燥するが、也燥にあたり
予め自然也燥しおから80〜120℃にお加熱焌付け
する方が密着性が向䞊するので奜たしい。圢成さ
せる皮膜は、塑性倉圢方法に応じお皮膜量を倉化
させ、板のような軜床の加工床の堎合0.5〜
m2、パむプのような匷加工床の堎合〜30
m2になるように凊理液濃床を倉化させお凊理
圢成させる。 実斜䟋  SUS304のステンレス鋌管を酞掗し、氎掗し、
第衚及び第衚の熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂ずワ
ツクスを含有する凊理液で浞挬凊理20℃、
分し、時間液切りず自然也燥した埌、100℃
の熱颚で30分間也燥しお固䜓皮膜を10〜15m2
圢成させた。䌞管機で匕抜き加工を行い、匕抜き
埌の倖芳芳察及び最滑膜の陀去法に぀いお調査し
た。その結果を第衚に瀺す。 䌞管条件 ●ステンレス鋌管 25φ×2.5t×2000mm ●加工床 32 ●匕抜き床 17.8min 又SUS304 50×100×0.8mm材料を、同様の凊理
液及び条件で詊隓板を䜜成しバりデン詊隓機によ
り、摩擊係数及び焌付きたでの摺動回数を枬定し
た。衚に瀺す。 〔バりデン詊隓、条件〕 圧 子SUJ− 5φ 荷 重Kg 摺動速床10mmsec 摺動幅 30mm 詊隓板 SUS304 50×100×0.8mm 詊隓枩床25℃

【衚】 比范䟋  実斜䟋ず同様のステンレス鋌管を酞掗、氎掗
し、蓚酞塩皮膜化成凊理〔FB−日本パヌカラ
むゞング株匏䌚瀟補品35AC16
、90℃10分凊理〕しお氎掗し、次いで最
滑凊理し〔ボンダリナヌベ235日本パヌカラむゞ
ング株匏䌚瀟補品7080℃分凊理〕
しお也燥埌、実斜䟋ず同様の抜䌞条件により匕
抜き加工ず、バりデン詊隓を行぀た。その結果を
第衚、第衚に瀺す。 比范䟋  実斜䟋ず同様のステンレス鋌管を酞掗、氎掗
し、也燥埌溶剀垌釈型暹脂〔ハングスタヌフア
111QDハングスタヌフア瀟補品〕トル゚ンで
倍垌釈し浞挬凊理宀枩分し、日間自
然也燥した埌最滑油〔−ハングスタヌフア
瀟補品〕を塗垃埌、実斜䟋ず同様の抜䌞条件に
より匕抜き加工ず、バりデン詊隓を行぀た。暹脂
付着量10m2ずした。その結果を第衚、第
衚に瀺す。 比范䟋  実斜䟋の最滑剀凊理液組成No.で暹脂No.の
架橋成分Rdを陀いた以倖は実斜䟋で行぀た方
法ず同様の条件で凊理し、匕抜き加工ずバりデン
詊隓を行぀た。暹脂皮膜厚さ10〜15m2ずし
た。 比范䟋  実斜䟋の最滑剀凊理液組成No.で暹脂No.の
架橋成分Rdを陀いた以倖は、実斜䟋で行぀た
方法ず同様の条件で凊理し匕抜き加工ずバりデン
詊隓を行぀た。暹脂皮膜厚さ10〜15m2ずし
た。その結果を第衚、第衚瀺す。
【衚】
〔発明の効果〕
本発明の冷間加工甚最滑剀凊理液にお金属を凊
理し、也燥しおその衚面に0.5〜30m2の固䜓
皮膜を圢成させるず、冷間加工の初期段階で固䜓
皮膜は充分な最滑性を瀺し、しごきに察しおもは
く離せず埓぀お加工金属衚面に皮膜が残留するの
で金属ず金型工具ずの接觊が防止できる。倉圢加
工段階では、金属の倉圢熱及び摩擊熱により金属
衚面が、100〜150℃䞊昇しお暹脂皮膜の䌞びが良
くなり、金属の倉圢に察しよく远随し膜切れを起
さないために、焌付珟象が起きない。冷間加工埌
においおはその残留皮膜をアルカリクリヌナヌで
容易に陀去するこずができるので、加工珟堎にお
ける䜜業性に適するものずなる等の優れた効果を
奏する。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特蚱請求の範囲】  䞋蚘䞀般匏で瀺されるガラス転移点が−10〜
    25℃に調敎された熱硬化型アクリル系暹脂10〜35
    重量郚ずワツクス〜15重量郚ず界面掻性剀0.5
    〜5.0重量郚ず残りは氎を含有し、䞔぀前蚘熱硬
    化型アクリル系暹脂ワツクス重量比が〜12に
    調敎された氎溶液であるこずを特城ずする金属の
    冷間加工甚最滑剀。 䞀般匏 −−Ra−Rb−Rc−Rd−o− 匏䞭のRaRbRcRdの順䜍はランダム
    であり、は重合床で1000〜50000であり、Raは
    ビニルトル゚ン基、スチレン基、メチルメタアク
    リル基又はアクリルニトリル基の䞭から遞ばれた
    皮又は皮以䞊を20〜70重量からなり、Rb
    はアクリル酞ず炭玠数〜12を有する玚脂肪族
    アルコヌルずの反応により埗られたアクリル酞゚
    ステル及び又はメタクリル酞ず炭玠数〜12を
    有する玚脂肪族アルコヌルずの反応により埗ら
    れたメタクリル酞゚ステルを20〜70重量からな
    り、Rcはアクリル酞、メタクリル酞、マレむン
    酞、むタコン酞、−ヒドロキシ゚チルメタクリ
    レヌトのリン酞゚ステル化合物、−ヒドロキシ
    プロピルメタクリレヌトのリン酞゚ステル化合
    物、又はそれらのアルカリ䞭和物の䞭から遞ばれ
    た皮又は皮以䞊を〜15重量からなり、
    Rdはメタクリル酞−ヒドロキシル゚チル、メ
    タクリル酞ヒドロキシプロピル、アクリル酞−
    ヒドロキシル゚チル、アクリル酞ヒドロキシプロ
    ピル、−メチロヌルアクリルアミド又はその゚
    ステル化合物、ゞアセトンアクリルアミド又はグ
    リシゞルメタクリレヌトの䞭から遞ばれた皮又
    は皮以䞊を〜20重量からな぀おいるもの。
