Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は熱転写型力ラーノ・−トコピー装置の紙送り
機構に関するものである。
従来、紙送妙機構として、第１図断面図に示す如くサー
マルヘッド１の荷重を受けるところのゴム状弾性体のプ
ラテン円筒軸２を駆動させて紙を送りながら、−色目を
熱転写させ、次の色を重ねて転写させるにはプラテン軸
２を逆転させて紙を元の位置に戻し、再度−色目と同じ
ように紙を送る動作をさせていた。
この場合の欠点として （１）　プラテンと紙の間でスリップを生じゃすく１色
目、２色目あるいは３色目の塗り重なった部位に色ズレ
を生じ、忠実なコピー機能を損なう。
（２）　プラテンが弾性状のため紙送り精度を維持しに
くく、またサーマルヘッドとプラテンの当り具合が不均
一であると、紙が曲がりながら往復し色ズレを生じたり
、最悪時、紙が装置内でつまってしまうなどトラブルを
発生する。
本発明はこれらの欠点を解消するためなされたものであ
り、プラテンを駆動させる代わりに、別軸の剛体状キャ
プスタンを駆動させることで、色ズレの生じない、かつ
紙が曲がらない信頼性の高い紙送シ装置を提供すること
を目的としたものである。
以下図面に示す実施例によって本発明を詳述する。
第２図は本発明の実施例を示１．たものである。
第２図１はサーマルヘッドでインクシート７の下に位置
する紙６Ｖｔ印字転写する際、ゴム状プラテン２に押し
当て、通電熱エネルギーにてインクを溶融させる働きを
もつ。印字転写中の紙送りＶＣは剛体状キャプスタン３
に、ゴム状ピンチローラ４を適切な荷重をもって紙６を
はさみ、同キャプスタン３をステッピングモータ等で正
転させて５紙をα方向に送る。プラテン２はフリー回転
とし。
紙の動きにならって回転する。次に次色を印字するＫは
、いったん同キャプスタンを逆転させて。
所定の位置まで紙を戻してから印字を開始させる、これ
らの動作をくわ返すことで、通常６色分を重ね塗りする
ことでカラーコピーを得られる。
キャプスタン３の表面１’ｌ：１ｉ、タングステンカー
バイド等の硬くて磨耗しにくい材料を、ブ２ズマ溶射等
の加工法で強固に付着せしめる。この時。
面粗すを適切に選択するが、紙とのスリップを極小にす
るには粗い程効果的である。しかしＨｍａｘ９０μ常以
上では、紙に凹凸が転写され、コピー品位を悪化させる
。適切な面粗すとしてＨｍａｗ　＝　２０μｍ〜７０μ
ｍが必要となる。
この発明は以上述べてきたように、紙を送り戻しするた
めの専用キャプスタンを設けた容易な機構とした友め （１）　色ズレのきわめて少ない高品位のカラーノ・−
トコビーが得られる。
（２）　紙が曲がらずに送り戻しが可能となりトラブル
カニ生じない。
（３）　紙送り精度維持に複雑な要因がなく、信顆性が
高い。
等の顕著な効果を有する。なお紙の形態として普通紙、
穴明紙、カー・ト紙、ロール紙いずれにも応用鉱張は容
易なこと言及に及ばない。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）剛体かつ円筒状キャプスタンを正逆回転させて、
    記録紙を送り戻しさせることを特徴とする熱転写型カラ
    ーノ・−トコピー装置。
  2. （２）　上記キャプスタンとして、剛体表面に超硬等材
    料を溶射し、得られた表面粗すＨ鵠＝　２０７’　ｍ〜
    ７０μｍを有することを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１
    項記載の熱転写型カラーノ・−トコピー装置。
