【発明の詳細な説明】
不発明は、合成樹脂製の分岐サドル金1合成樹脂管の外
周面に融着接合する方法、およびその融着装置に関する

従来から、ポリエチレン樹脂製の分岐サドルをこれと同
種の樹脂からなる管に、融着接合する場合、第り図に正
面図、及び第!図にその部分欠截平面図を示した融着装
置が用いられていた。

この従来装置の構造を同図に基づいて説明すると、合成
樹脂管Aを保持するクランプ装置/に一対のスライド杆

動自在に挿通しておシ、該連結杆3に分岐サドルBを保
持するホルダークが設けられている。

この装置を用いて分岐サドルBi合成樹脂管Aに融着接
合する場合、テコ式ハンドル乙ヲ作動させて分岐サドル
Bを合成樹脂管Aに接近させ、両者の接合面間に熱板C
を介在させて加熱、溶融させてから熱板cl除去し、し
かる後ハンドル操作によって分岐サドルBを合成樹脂管
Aに圧接して融着接合していた。

面間に気泡となって残留すると光分な融着強度が得られ
ないという問題があった。

不発明者らは、かかる従来の融着接合、及び融着方法の
問題点を解決すべく鋭意実験を重ねた結果、分岐サドル
を合成樹脂管に突合せた際に、溶融面同志を接触させつ
つ摺合せるか、又は溶融面同志を複数回くシ返して接離
させ、浴融面同志の染みをよくしてから圧着させると、
溶融面間に気泡が残留することもなく、また意外に融着
強度が高まることを見出し、本発明ケ完成するに至った
。
問題点を解決すべく鋭意実験を重ねた結果、分岐サドル
を合成樹脂管に突合せた際に、溶融面同志を接触させつ
つ摺合せるか、又は溶融面同志を複数回くシ返して接離
させ、浴融面同志の染みをよくしてから圧着させると、
溶融面間に気泡が残留することもなく、また意外に融着
強度が高まることを見出し、本発明ケ完成するに至った
。
即ち、不発明の融着装置は、前述した第り図(及びg−
を図)の従来装置に改善全図ったものであり、(1)ホ
ルダーグに摺合せ機構を設けるか[2+テコ式ハンドル
乙に代えて特殊な作動装置を採用して、分岐ザドルB’
([−合成樹脂yAに突合せた際に溶融面同志を摺合せ
、又は複数回く9返して接離できるようにしたものであ
る。

以下、不発明の実施例を図面にて詳細に説明する。第1

3図は、従来のテコ式ハンドルに代えて特殊な作動装置
を採用した部分欠截正面図である。

1ず、第1図に示す不発明の一実施例につき説明する。
一対のスライド杆λ、2に摺動自在に挿通さ九た連結杆
3に窪3/を設け、該渾3/の底壁に連結穴33ヲ設け
る。そして、ホルダーグ勿窪3/に挿入し、該ホルダー
グの上回に突出した支持棒り2を穴33内に挿入してそ
の上端部にナツトを螺合し、一方窪3/の底壁とホルダ
ーグの上面との間にコイルスプリング3グを介在させる
。

該コイルスプリング3認の押圧力をホルダーグの一側面
に作用させる。また、窪3/の他側壁には適宜個数の突
起3//を設け、これに対応してホルダークの他側面に
突起グ/を設ける。

この融着装置を用いて、分岐サドルB’((合成樹脂管
Aに融着接合する場合に(は、テコ弐ノ・ンドル乙を作
動させてホルダーグに保持した分岐サドルBヶ合成樹脂
管Aに接近させる。そして、両者の接合百聞に熱板Cを
介在させて同時に加熱溶融し、しかる後熱板c2除去し
て分岐サドルBを合成樹脂管Aに押付ける。この抑圧操
作によってホルダーグはコイルスプリング3グの押圧力
に抗して窪3/内に埋設すると共にg3/の突起3//
とホルダークの突起グ/とが係合、離脱して径方向に移
動し、合成樹脂管Aと分岐ザトルBとの溶融面同志が接
触しつつ摺合せられる。分岐サドルBi合成樹脂管Aに
押付けた際に、7回の押付操作によって溶融面同志が摺
合せられる回数は、窪3/とホルダーグとに設けた突起
の個数によって一義的に決まるので、必要に応I〕てこ
の抑圧操作を複数回〈シ返すとよめ。
Aに融着接合する場合に(は、テコ弐ノ・ンドル乙を作
動させてホルダーグに保持した分岐サドルBヶ合成樹脂
管Aに接近させる。そして、両者の接合百聞に熱板Cを
介在させて同時に加熱溶融し、しかる後熱板c2除去し
て分岐サドルBを合成樹脂管Aに押付ける。この抑圧操
作によってホルダーグはコイルスプリング3グの押圧力
に抗して窪3/内に埋設すると共にg3/の突起3//
とホルダークの突起グ/とが係合、離脱して径方向に移
動し、合成樹脂管Aと分岐ザトルBとの溶融面同志が接
触しつつ摺合せられる。分岐サドルBi合成樹脂管Aに
押付けた際に、7回の押付操作によって溶融面同志が摺
合せられる回数は、窪3/とホルダーグとに設けた突起
の個数によって一義的に決まるので、必要に応I〕てこ
の抑圧操作を複数回〈シ返すとよめ。
かくして、合成樹脂管Aと分岐サドルBとが摺合せられ
て溶融面同志の染みがよくなると溶融面間に介在してい
た気泡は完全に排出される。

背面を押圧する面には、ゴム等の弾注部利9!グが貼着
されている。この弾性部材ググば、分岐サドルBi熱板
C1又は合成樹脂管Aに押Uけた際にサドル背面を弾性
的に押圧して均一な圧着を可能するものであるが、これ
以外にも適宜のスペーサ部材ケ介在舌せてサドル背面全
均一に抑圧するようにしてもよい。
背面を押圧する面には、ゴム等の弾注部利9!グが貼着
されている。この弾性部材ググば、分岐サドルBi熱板
C1又は合成樹脂管Aに押Uけた際にサドル背面を弾性
的に押圧して均一な圧着を可能するものであるが、これ
以外にも適宜のスペーサ部材ケ介在舌せてサドル背面全
均一に抑圧するようにしてもよい。
この融着装置ヲ用いてホルダーグに保持した分岐サドル
Bを合成樹脂管Aに融着接合する場合には、前記の実施
例と同様に、両者の接合面全熱板Oで同時に加熱溶融さ
せたのち、ノ・ンドル操作で分岐サドルBを合成樹脂管
Aに軽く圧接せつつ電磁装置2全作動させる。

するまで静止状態で保持すると強固な触着接合が得られ
る。

また、第3図は、従来のテコ弐ノーンドルに代えて前原
によるシリンダー装置と全採用した木枝サドルBと合成
樹脂管Aとの接合面を熱板Cで加熱溶融させたのち、分
岐サドルBを合成樹脂管Aに圧着させる。このとき、シ
リンダー装置とを間陥的に作動させて溶融面同志ケ複数
回くり返し接離させ、浴融面同志の染みをよくしてから
、分岐サドルB(5合成樹脂管Aに所定圧力で圧着させ
つつ固定するまで静止状態で保持する。

尚、この融着装置を用いた融着方法の場合には、合成樹

f′Lないまま突合せ接合されることになるので、合成
樹脂管Aと分岐サドルBとの間に熱板a′?f:介在さ
せて溶融する際に、熱板q 1回転、移動させて両者の
接合面に剪断カケ与えつつ浴融させ、しかる後この溶融
面同志を複数回くり返し接離させて圧接すると一層強固
な融着接合が得られる。

f′Lないまま突合せ接合されることになるので、合成
樹脂管Aと分岐サドルBとの間に熱板a′?f:介在さ
せて溶融する際に、熱板q 1回転、移動させて両者の
接合面に剪断カケ与えつつ浴融させ、しかる後この溶融
面同志を複数回くり返し接離させて圧接すると一層強固
な融着接合が得られる。
以上詳述した如く、不発明の融着装置は、従来装置に改

よる作動機構を採用したものであシ、この装置を用いて
分岐サドルヶ合成樹脂管に融着接合する場合には、溶融
面同志を摺合せ、又は複数回くり返して接離をせるこダ とによって溶融面同志の染みそよくな9、気泡が完全に
排出される結果、極めて強固な融着接合が得られる。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 (1) 分岐サドルの接合面と、合成樹脂管の外周面
との間に熱板を介在させ、両面を同時に加熱溶融はせて
から熱板ケ除去し、次いで分岐サドルと合成樹脂管との
浴融面同志を接触させつつ摺合せるか、又は浴融面同志
を複数回くり返し接離させ、しかる後、両面を静止させ
たま1所定圧力で圧着させつつ固化するまで保持したこ
とケ特徴とする分岐サドルの融着方法。 杆+21 、 f21に連結杆(3)ヲ摺動自在に挿通
させると共に、該連結杆(3)に分岐サドルFB)を保
持するホルダー(41’a−設けたサドル融着装置にお
いて、連結杆(3)に窪(30を設けて該江(3υにホ
