Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、旬°管と分岐サドルとを強固に融着接合する
方法、およびその装置に関する。
一般に、母管から枝管を取出して分岐配管する場合、母
管の外周面に分岐サドルを融着接合し、該分岐サドルを
介して枝管を取出すことが行われている。そして、母管
に分岐サドルを融着接合する場合、従来は母管と分岐サ
ドルとの接合面を溶融させたのち、単に、該溶融面同士
を押付けて融着接合していたが、溶融面に巻込んだ空気
が完全に抜けきらガいために融着強度の低下を来し、枝
管に曲げモーメントが作用したときこの融着部分に剥離
が生じる等の問題があった。
本発明者らは、かかる従来の問題点を解決すべく釧意検
討の結果、母管と分岐サドルとの溶融面同士を押付けた
際に、両面を数回はど摺り合わせると、溶融面に巻込ん
だ空気を完全に追出すことができ、意外に思われるほど
融着強度が高まることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至
つた。
即ち、本発明は、曲管と分岐サドルとを摺り合わせて強
固に接合できる融着方法、及びその装置を提供するもの
である。
以下、本発明を図面にて詳細に説明する。第1図は、本
発明の一実施例を示す融着装置の正面図、第2図は第1
図に示した融着装置の部分断面平面図、第3図他の実施
例を示す融着装置の要部正面図であって、図中符号Aは
塩化ビニル樹脂、ポリエチレン樹脂等の合成樹脂からな
る母管、Bは曲管Aと同種の合成樹脂からkる分岐サド
ル、Cは融着装置、Dは熱板である。
本発明の融着装置Cは、クランプ装置/に一対のスライ
ド杆コ、λを連結し、該スライド杆−72に連結杆3を
摺動自在に挿通すると共に該連結杆3にホルダーグを設
け、一方スライド杆λ1.2の下方に昇降装置Sを付設
した構成からなり、トルクレンチ7を矢印方向に揺動さ
せた際にホルダークに保持した分岐サドルBをクランプ
装置/に保持した母管Aに押付けて融着接合するもので
ある。
次に、本融着装置Cの最も特徴とするクランプ装置/、
及び昇降装置Sの具体的構成について、更に詳しく説明
する。
クランプ装置/は、半円弧状の下部支持板//と、上部
支持板/2との一端部をピン接合し、他端部を締付具/
3で連結して両支持板//、7.2間に母管Aを保持す
る構成からなる。
この支持板//、/;lの内面、即ち母管Aの外周面と
接触する把持面に回転部材/IIを回動自在に埋設する
。第2図には、回転部材/4’として円筒体を用い、該
円筒体を複数本並列にして把持面に埋設した構成につい
て示したが、これ以外にも回転部材/llとして球体を
用い、該球体を回動自在に埋設してもよい。従って、母
管Aは、回転部材/りを介してクランプ装着/に回動自
在に保持されることになる。
一方、昇降装置Sは、ペダルS/の中間部を基台乙に軸
支し、該ペダルS/の足踏側にコイルばねS2を張設し
た構成からなり、ペダルS/を足踏することにより、融
着装置Cを上下に移動させることができる。
尚、第3図は昇降測置左の他の実施例を示したものであ
って、電動モータS3の作動によりロッド、1+を伸縮
させて融着装置Cを上下に移動させるようにしてもよい
本発明の融着製装置は、以上の構成からなるものであり
、次にこの装置を用いて分岐サドルBを母管Aに接合す
る手順を説明する。
まず、第1図に示すように、母管Aをクランプ装置/に
保持し、該母管Aの外周面と、ホルダーダに保持した分
岐サドルBの接合面との間に、熱板りを介在させ、両接
合面を溶融させる。
次いで、熱板りを取外し、トルクレンチ7を作用させて
、分岐サドルBを母管Aに一定圧力で押伺けつつ昇降装
置Sを作動させる。この昇降装置Sが作動すると、融着
装置Cは、母管Aを中心として上下に揺動する。即ち、
母管Aは配管施工されて回動しないため、融着装置Cが
回転部材/りを介して上下に揺動し、従って、母管Aと
分岐サドルBとの溶融面が母管Aの周方向に摺り合わせ
られることになる。
かくして、母管Aと、分岐サドルBとの溶融面に介在し
ていた空気を完全に追出したのち、昇降装置Sの作動を
停止し、溶融面を静止させたまま一定圧力で押付けって
所定時間保持する。
以上の接合手順を経て、母管Aと分岐サドルBとは、一
体強固に融着接合される。
以上詳細した如く、本発明によれば、母管と分岐サドル
との融着強度を従来と比べて格段に高めることができた
。しかもこの接合に用いられる融着装置は、操作手順が
簡単であるために特に熟練を必要とせず、現場での配管
施工が迅速、確実に行えるものである。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 母管の外周面と、分岐サドルの接合面とを熱板に押
    当て溶融させたのち、該溶融面同士を押付けつつ摺り合
    わせ、次いで溶融面を静止させたまま一定圧力で押付け
    つつ所定時間保持したことを特徴とする分岐サドルの融
    着方法 2 母管(A)を保持するクランプ装置(1)に一対ノ
    スライド杆(2) 、 (2+を連結し、該スライド杆
    (2)。 (2)に連結杆(3)を摺動自在に挿通すると共に該連
    結杆(3)に分岐サドル(B)を保持するホルダー(グ
    )を設けた分岐サドルの融着装置において、前記クラン
    プ装置(1)の把持面に回転部材α(イ)を埋設し、該
    回転部材側を介して母管(A)を回動自在に保持するよ
