Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、太陽光をレンズ系等によって集束して利用す
る太陽光エネルギー利用機器を太陽の移動に自動的に追
従させて太陽光エネルギーを常に最も効率のよい状態で
利用し得るようにした太陽光自動追尾装置に関する。
近時、省エネルギ一時代を迎え、太陽光エネルギーの効
果的利用について各方面で活発に研究開発が行われてい
るが、その際、太陽光エネルギーを効果的に利用するた
めに、太陽光エネルギー利用機器を太陽の移動に追従し
て移動させることが行われている。しかし、太陽の年間
を通しての移動範囲は広く、また、その日の状況によっ
ても条件が変るので、年間を通じて常に太陽の移動に正
確に追従させることは困難であった。
本発明は、上述のごとき実情に鑑みてなされたもので、
特に、簡単かつ安価な構成によってすなわち最少の光セ
ンサを用いて広範囲にかつ正確に太陽の移動に追従し得
る太陽光自動追尾装置を提供しようとするものである。
第１図は、本発明による太陽光自動追尾装置の一実施例
を説明するための要部概略斜視図、第２図は、第１図の
概念図で、図中、１は太陽光を集束するだめのレンズ系
、２は該レンズ系を南北方向に回動させるだめの第１の
回転軸、３は該第１の回転軸を支持する支持腕、４は該
支持腕３を東西方向に回動させるための第２の回転軸、
Ｌｓは太陽光の南方同成分の光を検出する第１の光セン
サ、ＬＮは北方向成分の光を検出する第２の光セ／す、
ＬＥは東方向成分の光を検出する第３の光センサ、Ｌｗ
は西方向成分の光を検出する第４の光センサ、Ｌｏ　は
太陽方向からの総太陽光量（＝直達太陽光＋間接太陽光
）を検出するだめの第５の光センサで、レンズ系１が正
確に太陽の方向を向いている時は、第１乃至第４光セン
サには直達太陽光が入射せず、間接太陽光のみが入射す
るように配設されている。従って、第１及び第２光セン
サの検出出力は後述するような特殊条件の場合を除き略
゛等しく、第３及び第４台光センサの検出出力は常に略
等しい。従って、第１の光センサＬｓの検出出力と第２
の光センサＬＮの検出出力との差をとり、その差信号に
よってモータＭｌを回転して第１の回転軸２を回動して
前記差が０になるように制御するとともに、第３の光セ
ンサＬＥの、検出出力と第４の光センサＬｗの検出出力
との差をとり、その差信号によってモータＭ２を回転し
て第２の回転軸４を回動し、その差が０になるように制
御すれば、レンズ系１は正確に太陽の方向を向き、最も
効率よく太陽光を集束することができる。このようにし
てレンズ系１−によって集束された太陽光は、例えば、
該レンズ系１の焦点位置にその受光端が配設された光導
体クープル５内に導入され−、該光導体ケーブル５を通
して任意所望の箇所に伝達されて使用に供される。斯様
に、本発明による太陽光自動追尾装置は、通常は、４つ
の光センサによって正確に太陽の移動に追従することが
でき、そのま＼動作すれば、朝方、夕方等においても、
レンズ系１は正確に太陽の方向を向き、例えば、第３図
に示すように、略横を向くが、朝、夕等においては、上
方からの間接光は多く、下方からの間接光は少ないので
、第１の光セ／すＬｓに入射する光量は多く、第２の光
センサＬＮに入射する光量は少なく、第１の光センサＬ
ｓの検出出力が第２の光センサＬＮの検出出力に比べて
格段に大きくなり、レンズ系１は太陽の方向に正確に向
かなくなる。第５の光センサＬｏは、このような不都合
を避けるために設けられたもので、該第５の光センサＬ
。にょって、常時、太陽の方向からの総太陽光景を検出
しており、正常時つまり第１の光センサＬｓ　の検出出
力ｏｓ　と第２の光センサしＮの検出出力ＯＮが略等し
く、かつ、第５の光センサＬｏの検出出力Ｏｏ　　と前
記第１の光センサＬｓの検出出力Ｏｓが、ｏｏ＞ｏｓの
関係にある時は、前述のように、＋０８　−ＯＮ　＋　
が０になるようにモータＭ１　を制御し、第１の光セン
Ｌ８に対する入射光が第２の光センサＬＮ　に対する入
射光に対して格段に大きい朝、夕等においては、第５の
光センサＬｏの入射光に対して第１の光センサＬｓ　の
入射光も大きくなるので、この時、つま’）、ｏｓ≧Ｏ
ｏの関係にある時は、第１の光センサＬＳの検出感度、
或いは、検出出力を１／λ（＝低降率）に低降Ｌテｌｘ
／λｏｓ　−０ＮＩ　カ。

、太陽光をレンズ系等によって集束させて利用する場合
、該レンズ系によって有効に集束されるのは、太陽方向
から入射される平行光線（直達太陽光）であるが、前述
のように、朝、夕等においては、上方から第１の光セン
サＬｓ　に入射する間接太陽光は、下方から第２の光セ
ンサＬＮに入射する間接太陽光に比づて格段に大きく、
これら第１の光センサＬＳの検出出力Ｏｓと第２の光セ
ンサＬＮ　の検出出力ＯＮの差をＯにするように前記レ
ンズ系１を制御すると、該レンズ系は太陽の方向に正確
に向かなくなシ、太陽光を効果的に利用することができ
なくなるが、そのような場合、前述のように、第１の光
センサＬｓ　の検出感度、或いは、検出出力を１／λに
低降して、この低降した第１の光センサＬｓの検出出力
０８　と、第２の光センサＬＮ　の検出出力ＯＮの差を
０にするように前記レンズ系を制御すると、朝、夕等の
特殊条件下においても、レンズ系を太陽の方向により正
確に向けることができる。
以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明によると、最少
限の光センサを使用した簡単かつ安価な構成によって、
太陽光収集装置を常時よシ正確に太陽の方向に向けるよ
うに制御することができる。

    太陽方向からの総太陽光量を受光する第５の光センサと
    を有し、前記第１の光センサは南方同成分の光を検出し
    、前記第２の光センサは北方向成分の光を検出し、前記
    第３の光センサは東方向成分の光を検出し、前記第４の
    光センサは西方向成分の光を検出するように前記第１の
    軸を回動し、前記第３の光センサの検出出力と第４の光
    センサの検出出力との差がＯになるように前記第２の軸
    を回動するようにしたことを特徴とする太陽光自動追尾
    装置゛。
  2. （２）、前記第１の光センサの一検出出力を０８％第２
    の光センサの検出出力をＯＮｓＮＳＯ２センサの検出出
    力をＯ８とじた時、Ｏ８〈０゜の場合は、１ｏ８−ｏＮ
    ｌが０になるように前記第１の軸を制御し、０８　≧ｏ
    、の場合は司１／λｏｓ　−ｏ帽が０になるように前記
    第１の軸を制御するようにしたことを特徴とする特許請
    求の範囲第（１）項に記載の太陽光自動追尾装置（ただ
    し、１／λは低降率）。
