Abstract
PURPOSE:To readily use a sun tracking device, for example, at home by receiving the sunbeams by two photodetection sensors in two orthogonal axial directions, comparing the quantities of light irradiation in the axial directions with each other, and making the device follow the irradiation direction and tilt angle of the sunbeams so that the quantities of irradiation become equal to each other. CONSTITUTION:The two photodetection sensors 2a and 2b of a sunbeam detection part 1 detects the sunbeams in the two orthogonal axial directions and convert the quantities of irradiation into the quantities of electricity, which are compared by a 1st comparator 3 and a 2nd comparator 4. Then driving commands D1 and D2 for determining the directions and tilt angles of the photodetection sensors 2a and 2b so that the quantities of irradiation of the two photodetection sensors 2a and 2b becomes equal to each other at all times are inputted to a direction side driving part 7 and a tilt-angle side driving part 8 through a direction side driving circuit 5 and a tilt-angle side driving circuit 6 to drive the photodetection sensors 2a and 2b of the sunbeam detection part 1, thereby tracking the sun. Consequently, this device is readily utilized for, for example, home interior lighting, a calorifier utilizing the solar heat, etc.
