Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は含水系不燃性作動液、特に高含水作動液(以下
HWBFという)に関する。
鉄鋼業の圧延装置やダイカスト業などの高温物体を取扱
う分野の油圧装置には火災事故を防止するためHWBF
が用いられている。
今日市販されているHWBFは主としてJIS K2
241の規定に適合する切削油または研削油であり、W
1種(0/Wエマルジヨン)とW 2 種(ンリュブル
油)に分類される。
しかしながらこれら従来のHWBFは本来水溶性切削油
であり作動液とじての潤滑性に劣っている。
このため作動液としてのHWBFの潤滑性を改良するた
めの研究もなされているが、いずれも耐摩耗性が不十分
である。
更に作動液に必要な油圧機器材質との適合性、環境保全
性等を併せ考慮されたものはない。
本発明者は上記従来のHWBFの有する問題点を解消す
べく鋭意研究を行ったところ、特定の化合物を配合する
ことにより優れた作動液が得られることを見い出した。
即ち本発明は(イ)分子量約500〜4000のα。
ω−1,2−ポリブタジェンジカルボン酸0.5〜4重
量%、(ロ)水40〜99.5重量%、及び(ハ)鉱油
及び合成油の少くとも1種0〜59.5重量%を主成分
として成る作動液に係る。
本発明の作動液はその潤滑性、油圧機器材質との適合性
、安全衛生性、安定性、排水処理性等に優れたものであ
る。
本発明で使用されるα、ω−ポリブタジェンジカルボン
酸はブタジェンをリビング重合させて得られる液状のア
ククチイック1,2−ポリブタジェンの末端にカルボキ
シル基を導入したものである。
平均分子量は通常500〜4000程度が好適であるが
、1000〜2000のものが好ましく、特に1000
〜1500のものが好ましい。
α、ω−ポリブタジェンジカルボン酸は酸型が好ましい
が、一部又は全量中和したものを用いても良い。
本発明の作動液は水または鉱油、合成油等に上記α、ω
−ポリブタジェンジカルボン酸を配合することにより得
られ、その配合量は作動液巾約0.5〜4重量%程度と
するのが好ましい。
本発明の作動液はエマルジョン型、ソリュブル型のいず
れでも良い。
本発明の作動液には一般に潤滑油ベースとして使用され
ている鉱油、合成油を用いるのが好ましい。
また本発明の作動液には必要に応じて界面活性剤、防錆
剤、防腐剤、pH調整剤、増粘剤等を添カ目することが
できる。
界面活性剤としては一般に水溶性切削油に使用されてい
る陰イオン活性剤、非イオン活性剤が適当であり、安定
性及び排水処理性を考慮して選定するのが好ましい。
防錆剤としては市販の鉄系用錆止め剤、ベンゾトリアゾ
ール等の銅系用防食剤が適当である。
防腐剤、増粘剤として各種の水溶性ポリマーを使用でき
る。
本発明の作動液はこれをそのまま希釈なしで用いること
もできるし、また適当な倍率に希釈して用いることもで
きる。
通常α、ω−ポリブタジェンジカルボン酸の濃度が約Q
、5〜4重量%程度となるように希釈して用いるのが好
ましい。
本発明は一般の水溶性切削液と同様に前記の各種添カロ
剤を含有する原液をまず調整し、この原液を水で有効分
1〜10%に希釈攪拌して調整するが、さらに原液に一
部の水、好ましくは原液に対し2〜3倍の水と乳化機に
通し予め乳化微粒子液を調整しておくのが好ましい。
また防錆剤、金属防蝕剤、防腐剤、増粘剤などはHWB
F希釈液に添加するなど、HWBFの調整方法は何ら限
定されるものではない。
以下に本発明の実施例を挙げて説明する。
実施例 1〜6 第1表に記載したα、ω−ポリブタジェンジカルボン酸

防腐剤を用いて、各配合割合の作動液を作成した。
試験例 1 実施例1〜6の作動液に第2表記載の通り加。
ω−ポリブタジエンジカルポン酸(PBCと略す)濃度
となるように水を加え攪拌して乳化液としHWBFを調
整した。
このHWBFをASTM])2882に規定の油圧作動
液のベーンポンプによる耐摩耗性評価試験装置を用い、
圧力5MPu。
温度40℃で運転し、ポンプ部品の摩耗量を測定した。
結果を第2表に示す。また実施例1,3および5の作動
液から得たHWBFに鋼、銅、アルミ、亜鉛、黄銅を浸
漬し温度50℃で168時間放置後の金属試片の重量変
化を測定した。
結果を第3表に示す。尚比較のため市販のHWBFにつ
いても同様の試験を行い、その結果を第2表及び第3表
に併記する。
注) (α)は水以外の成分の濃度を示す上記実施例1
〜6で使用した市販品の夫々は次のものである。
日暮PBC100O:α、ω−1,2〜ポリブタジェン
ジカルボン酸 市販防錆油二酸化ワックスのアルカリ金属塩市販防腐剤
:へキサヒドロ1,3.5−(2−ヒドロキシトリアジ
ン) 市販切削油:マシン油85%、石油スルホネート12%
及びノニオン界面活性剤 (ノニルフェノールのエチレンオキ サイド付加物)3% エステル油ニトリメチルプロパンの牛脂脂肪酸エステル ノニオン界面活性剤:ノニルフェノールのエチレンオキ
サイド付加物 排水処理剤 HWBFが油圧装置から漏れ、工業排水中に混入した場
合を想定して、実施例1のHWBFを・10倍に希釈し
た排水について排水処理を行った。
上記希釈液(乳化白濁液)100部に20%PAC水溶
液1部を加えて攪拌しながら5%水酸化カルシウム懸濁
水溶液でpH7に中和、ついで高分子凝集剤の1%水溶
液を1部添加した。
放置後/I62のP紙で濾過したところ、p紙は無色透
明でありCODは25泗であった。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 (イ)分子量約500〜4000のα、ω−1゜2
    −ポリブタジェンジカルボン酸0.5〜4重量%、 (ロ)水40〜99.5重量%、及び (ハ)鉱油及び合成油の少くとも1種0〜59.5重量
    % を主成分として成る作動液。
