Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は継手付きゴムホースの製造方法に関する。
従来、継手付きゴムホースの製造方法として、所定の形
状に成形した加硫ゴムホースの両端部に継手を装着し、
つぎに継手の端部をカシメ加工して製造している。この
方法において継手とゴムホースとを強固に締結するため
にカシメ度合を高める傾向がある。しかじカシメ度合を
過大にするとコムホースに亀裂が生じてシール性を低下
させるおそれがある。
つぎにN K加圧成形法でゴムホースに多次元的な曲り
を付与する場合、蒸気吹込用継手をゴムホースの両、端
部に装着した後成形する。この場合、ゴム材料の流れに
よりゴムホースの両端部に補強糸がない部分が形成され
るため、成形後蒸気吹込用継手装置管部付近のゴムホー
スを切断する必要がある、 ’j 11 代jf&用マンドレルをゴムホース内へ挿
入して曲11)をもつゴムホース?成形するマンドレル
成形法がルするが、加硫成形状態のゴムホースから前記

このネ明は前記の事情にかんがみて、コムホースの性能
を害することなく、多次元的な曲9’fもつゴムホース
を簡単に製造できる継手付きゴムホースのj’tu i
1’j方法を提供することを目的とする。
またこの発明の要旨とするところは、両端部に継手全装
着した未加硫ゴムホースを金型に定置し、この二l゛ム
ホースを内外両面から加熱しつつ加硫hv形した後、継
手の端部をカシメ加工することである。
以下、第1〜S図を参照しながらこの発明方法の実施例
を説明する。
すなわち、好ましくは第1図に示すようにあらかじめ継
手1のニップル面1D、スリーブ内面1E付近に液状接
着剤ご適量塗布し、さらに未加硫ゴムホース2の端部2
A付近に液状接着剤を適量塗布する。なお第1図は一方
の継手および未加硫ゴムホースの端部を示すが、他方の
継手および未加硫ゴムホースの端部にも同様に液状接着
剤を塗布する。
つぎに適当手段で第2図に示すように継手1の環状空間
1C内へ未加硫ゴムホース2の端部2Aを挿入する。こ
うして未加硫ゴムホース2の両端部に継手1が装着され
た継手付きゴムホースが得られる。
つぎに第3、グ図に示すように基台10に上熱盤6と上
面に多次元的な曲りをもつキャビティを刻設した金型3
Aとが取付けられ、またこの金型3Aに刻設したキャビ
ティと対応するキャビディが刻設されている金型3Bと
上熱盤5とがラム4に取付けられている成形プレスを使
用し、前記組付は状帳の継手付きゴムホースを金型3A
に定置する(このときラム4、上熱盤5および金型3B
は金型3Aの上方の所定位置で静止している)。
その代継手1Aに給気圧力計12およびパルプ11が接
続されている導管7を接続し、継手1Bに排電圧力計1
3およびパルプ14が接続されている導管8を接続する
。つぎに図示しない蒸気源から高温蒸気を」二熱盤5お
よび上熱盤6に供給して金型3A、3Bを約/乙O″C
に加熱する同時に、ラム4全降下させて金型3A、3B
の型閉じを行う。また前記パルプ11.14を開放して
前記高温蒸気を導管7、ゴムホース2、導管8をへてド
レンビット9へ供給する(この場合、ゴムホース2内の
蒸気圧は約6kg / cm以上に調整する)。こうし
て前記ゴムホース2は内外両面から加熱および加圧され
て多次元的な形状に加硫成形される。
つぎにラム4を所定位置へ上昇させて金型3A。
3BをJlり開きする。
その後継手付きゴムホースを金型3Aから取出し、適当
手段で第S図に示すように継手1の端部にカシメ部1F
を形成して、継手1とゴムホース2との締結を終える。
以上のように、この発明方法により継手付きゴムホース
を加研成形する場合、ゴムホースは未加硫状態で容易に
屈曲できるため、多次元的な曲りをもつキャビティが刻
設されている金型へ簡単に定置させることができ、つい
で型閉じ状態の下でゴムホースは上下熱盤と接触してい
る金型からの伝熱作用と、ゴムホース内へ導入する蒸気
の伝熱作用および加圧作用を受けて加硫成形される。
この場合、継手は実体用継手であるから加硫成形後取外
す必要がなく、また従来法のように加硫成形後ゴムホー
スの両端部を切断する必要がなく、さらにゴムホース内
に成形用マンドレpを挿入する必要もないため、製造工
程時間が著しく短縮できる。
また、この発明方法によって車11造した継手付きゴム
ホースは加硫時に継手が装着されているので、ホースと
継手とのシール性が良好で、しかも従来法にくらべて簡
単に多次元的な曲りを付与することが可能で、製造工程
時間も短縮でき、またゴムホースが具備する本来のシー
ル性、強度等の性能を100%有効に活用できるという
特徴を発揮する。

  1. 両端部に継手を装着した未加硫ゴムホースを金型に定置
    し、前記ゴムホースを内外両面から加熱しつつ加硫成形
    し友後、前記継手の端部をカシメ加工することを特徴と
    する継手付きゴムホースの製造方法。
