Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove impurities in sewage efficiently by adding an oxidizing agent and a metallic ion dissociating material to mixed slurries of treated water and excess sludge of a biological nitrifying and denitrifying process, causing these to react under acidic conditions then concentrating and dehydrating the same.
