Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out treatment of org. waste water and a generated sludge in good efficiency by a method wherein an inorg. coagulant is added to a mixed slurry of an excessive sludge of a biological treatment process and treating water and, after said slurry is concentrated, ferric ion is added to the resultant concentratd slurry to dehydrate the same.
CONSTITUTION: Raw excretion 31 is flowed into a biological treatment process 32 such as a biological nitration and denitrification method or the like and, to the obtained mixed slurry 37 of concentrated separated water 35 and an effluent slurry 36, ferric chloride as an inorg. cagulant 39 and slaked lime as an alkali agent 40 are added in a stirring tank 38 to adjust a pH thereof to 7.0 or less and stirring is carried out. Subsequently, a polymer such as a nonionic type or the like is added to the stirred slurry as a high molecular coagulant 41 to form a flock with a large particle size and the slurry is dehydrated on a screen 42 by gravity to carry out concentrating and separating treatment of said slurry to obtain separated water 43 and a separated sludge 44. To the separated sludge, an alkali agent is added in a mixing tank 45 and the alkali treated sludge is dehydrated by a mechanical dehydrator 47 to be separated into a dehydrated cake 48 and separated water 49.
