Abstract
PURPOSE:To elevate a peel-off property of a form against a photosensitive body, by superposing and applying not only AC voltage but also DC bias voltage being opposite in polarity to DC applied voltage of a transferring charger, to a peeling-off charger. CONSTITUTION:A form P whose transfer has been finished passes through a peeling-off charger 13. To this charger 13, a peeling-off electric power supply 14 is connected. Therefore, positive polarity DC bias voltage VHB being opposite in polarity to a transferring charger 5 is superposed on AC voltage 26 and both of them are applied. Accordingly, as for an inflow current 27 of a photosensitive body 1, a positive current increases, also a negative current decreases, a negative charge on the form P is neutralized completely, and electrostatic absorption force existing between the photosensitive body 1 and the form P decreases. Accordingly, the form P is peeled off easily from the photosensitive body 1. According to such a constitution, a peel-off property of a form against a photosensitive body is elevated.
