Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a peel-off property of a form from a photosensitive body, by providing both a peeling-off charger for giving a charge being opposite in polarity to a transferring electrostatic charge, and a discharging charger for neutralizing a charge of a form. CONSTITUTION:A form P whose transfer has been finished passes through a peeling-off charger 13 and a discharging charger 14. To this peeling-off charger 13, DC voltage, for instance, +6kV which is opposite in polarity to a transferring charger 5 is applied, and to the discharging charger 14, AC voltage, for instance, 5kV is applied. Accordingly, a charge on the form P is neutralized, and the form P is peeled off from a photosensitive body 1. In this case, sometimes the charge is left on the peeled form P, but it is also neutralized by the discharging charger 14, and after that, is heated and fixed through a fixing roller 20. According to such a constitution, the charge on the form P is neutralized almost completely, and the peel- off property of the form against the photosensitive body is elevated.
