Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the wasteful consumption of electric power by stopping the oscillating action of a transistor according to the detected voltage at the time when the charged voltage of a main capacitor reaches a specified value. CONSTITUTION:When charging is advanced and the charged voltage of the main capacitor 28 reaches the charged voltage Vo, a transistor 30 receives the voltage of a tap (a) in its base and is turned on so as to stop the on and off oscillation of a switching transistor 20. When an output current i2 is stopped by the stopping of oscillation, fly-back voltages are generated in the respective coils of a booster transformer 21 and the transistors 20 and 30 remain off.
