Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform safe starting by a method wherein an AC switch is provided between an inverter and a system and the AC switch is turned on after arriving the voltage at a predetermined value in supplying an AC system with power from a DC power source through an inverter. CONSTITUTION:A DC power supply 1 such as solar batteries or the like is connected to a voltage-type inverter 3 consisting of bridge-connection transistors 12 and the DC power is controlled by a control device 3' to supply the power to an AC system 5. At that time, an AC switch 7 is provided between the inverter 3 and the system 5 and a magnetic contactor 2 short-circuiting a battery 1 is opened and the switch 7 is simultaneously turned on when a capacitor 11 is charged by the voltage supplied from the battery 1 and the value has reached higher than the voltage at the system 5 side. Therefore, the power at the system 5 side will not flow back to the capacitor 11 at the time of starting the inverter to prevent the damage to parts and safe starting can be done.
