Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise engine break performance, by controlling operative and inoperative conditions of idle-up apparatus, in accordance with the operational condition of a vehicle equipped with an air conditioning device, and by making the idle- up apparatus inoperative during the operation of the air conditioning device when the vehicle is decelerated.
CONSTITUTION: A diaphragm 4 is disposed in the bypass air conduit, which bypasses the throttle valve 3 of a carburator and the negative pressure chamber 43 of the valve 4 is supplied with either intake negative pressure through the conduits 53, 54 interposing a solenoid valve 5 or atmospheric pressure through a port 52. The solenoid valve 5 is equipped with an energizing coil 51 which is energized by electric power transmitted from a battery 7 via each contact 8, 92, 10, 12. Meanwhile, each of contact 8, 92, 10 acts respectively as a manual switch, a switch which is on-off operated on the basis of the output of a room temperature sensor 94 and engine revolution speed, and a switch that is turned on-off in conjunction with the shift position of a transmission. The contact 12 is also a relay switch controlled by a discrimination circuit 20 of revolution speed of engine.
